"Our stay here was the highlight of our trip. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, and the resort is both beautiful and pristine. We were fortunate to book on a day when we had the entire resort to ourselves, and the staff kindly arranged a quad excursion in the desert for us while we dined at the restaurant. The desert experience was something I had long hoped to do, and this resort helped make it one of my fondest memories. I only wish we had stayed longer than one night. The room was also lovely."

"Some side areas were under construction or repair but all of the main areas were clean, well-maintained and attractively designed. The rooms in particular are quite nice, they're just like the photos. The only thing to complain about is that the wifi is not very good. The owner or manager speaks English and was very helpful in booking a tour for me. Would easily recommend it as a place to stay for enjoying Erg Chebbi."

"Le campement du Sanmao est idéalement situé tout près de l’Erg Chebbi. Le site est magnifique et les tentes sont toutes équipées et très confortables. Tout le personnel a été très serviable mais mention honorable à Abdel qui est le chef d’orchestre sur le site et qui s’assure qu’on ne manque de rien. Si vous voulez vivre une expérience inoubliable, nous recommandons fortement le Sanmao desert luxury camp."

"We had a fabulous time here. The staff, particularly the Manager, went out of their way to meet our needs. They made us feel welcome far beyond check out time, with use of their beautiful pool. Given the heat, this was greatly appreciated. A fabulous chicken tagine was made especially for us. Highly recommended!"

"A lovely welcome with Moroccan tea before departure, along with clear explanations of all the activities offered by the team. The tents were very comfortable and beautifully located in the heart of the desert. Everything was well organized, from the activities to the dinner and breakfast. A special mention to Saïd, who took care of the 4x4 driving through the dunes and was always available to help with anything we needed. The whole team was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive, making the experience truly memorable."

"Internet was unreliable but youre in the desert and supposed to be ~being in the moment and appreciating nature so wasnt a big deal. Food was great for me but im not too picky. Boss (sorry forgot his name) was accommodating and very communicative. the Mohammeds were always checking in on us to make sure everything was good. There was a night of singing and dancing (awesome voices) and we did the tours: Ali with the desert tour is so kind and Hassan with the camels is lovely and so passionate about taking our pictures. Very very warm people.."
