This location is great, we stay here every time we visit for the winter. Location is walking distance to everything to . Easy check in and check out, complimentary coffee and tea at the office with a beautiful fireplace to enjoy while you sip. It snowed the first night we arrived and the next morning staff was out clearing the snow in parking lot. Staff was attentive. The staff is very kind and helpful, the rooms are not the newest, but that doesn’t usually impress me anyway. They are clean, and that’s important to me! What a great town to visit for a couple of nights. The lodge itself is very nice. I had a small room that is sufficient for one person. Easy parking. This lodge is on the main street for the town of Red River, and all shops and restaurants are within a 15 minute walk from the lodge. One of the ski lifts is located right next to the lodge. There are two hot tubs available in the back for hotel guests to use. Alpine Lodge was a perfect place to stay during our Red River trip. My wife and I loved how close it was to everything. Literally right next to the ski lift. Staff was super friendly and very helpful getting checked in and out. Bed was comfortable and perfect size for the two of us. Enjoyed not having to worry about keys but used a keypad to get into our room. You can hear your neighbors next door but it wasn’t too bad. They do have quiet hours but it depends on who your neighbors are. Had people being very loud until 11:30 one night, that was a bit of a bummer but once they quieted down, it was fine. Overall, Alpine Lodge was a great place to stay, close to restaurants and shops, affordable and very cozy.
