"Spacious rooms, clean bathrooms and very friendly staff. Self serve laundry was a huge plus. Breakfast buffet had a little of options and was well stocked. We enjoyed our two nights here and would return to the same hotel if ever back in Yakushima. "

### Yakushima Guesthouse Suginoko

"Cozy and clean guesthouse off the main road. Room is identical to pictures so be wary of size. Share space (dining room) is well stocked and equipped with utensils, hot water, instant coffee, etc. Shared fridge space and microwave access available. Washing machine on site is a plus, with warehouse space for drying. Coin laundry facility is 5 minutes away when necessary. Breakfast buns are provided daily. We had a wonderful stay and the staff onsite was very helpful with answering questions. We were also able to order a "lunchbox" (wrapped in leaves) for our day hikes which was convenient."
