"We thoroughly enjoyed the pools, we used 2 of the 3. We ate at all of the restaurants in the resort, and the food was delicious. We stayed in a room with a king size bed and the sofa bed. The sofa bed was not as comfortable. But the king size bed was massive! the balcony was also beautiful. There was a group checking in right before us, so the check in time took a while."

Top Tamda Noumercid Hotel Reviews

Borj Des Cascades

Borj Des Cascades

10/10 Excellent
"We booked this hotel because of its proximity to Ouzoud Falls, and the view from our room overlooking the waterfalls was absolutely breathtaking! The room was beautifully decorated, but unfortunately, there was a strong sewage odor coming from the bathroom. Thankfully, the bathroom was separate from the bedroom, so we kept the door closed after each use to minimize the smell. Aside from this issue, we had a wonderful experience. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive. We especially loved the hotel's location in the heart of a traditional Berber village. The hotel also offered local tours, and we enjoyed a memorable donkey ride through the mountains and surrounding areas. Despite the bathroom odor, we truly enjoyed our stay. The spectacular views, warm hospitality, and unique cultural experiences made it a memorable visit!"

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Tamda Noumercid?
The best area to stay in Tamda Noumercid is the central village area, particularly near the main square and the road leading towards the Aït Bougoumez Valley.

This central part of Tamda Noumercid is where you'll find most of the guesthouses and local amenities. It's a compact area, making it easy to walk around. The main road, often unpaved, connects the village to other small settlements and serves as a natural gathering point. You'll often see locals and travellers congregating near the small shops and cafes here.

For travellers looking for an authentic cultural experience combined with access to outdoor activities, this central village area is ideal. Many guesthouses are family-run, offering traditional Moroccan hospitality and home-cooked meals. From here, you can easily arrange guided treks into the surrounding mountains or visit local markets.

Couples looking for a peaceful retreat will appreciate the quiet atmosphere and stunning natural beauty. Many guesthouses offer rooms with balconies or terraces that provide breathtaking views of the Atlas Mountains, superb for relaxing after a day of exploring.
When is the best time to go to Tamda Noumercid?
The best time to go to Tamda Noumercid is during the spring (April to May) or autumn (September to October) when the weather is most pleasant for outdoor activities.

During these months, the daytime temperatures are mild and comfortable, typically ranging from 20°C to 28°C. This makes it ideal for exploring the surrounding Atlas Mountains, hiking to waterfalls, or visiting local villages without the intense heat of summer or the chill of winter. The natural scenery is particularly appealing in spring when the landscape is lush and green.

Couples often find these seasons great for a romantic getaway. The cooler evenings are lovely for dining outdoors or enjoying a quiet moment under the stars, and the daytime weather is excellent for shared adventures like scenic drives or guided walks through the countryside.

For families, the mild weather in spring and autumn means children can comfortably enjoy outdoor excursions and activities without becoming overheated or too cold.
