Stayed for 1 night with my daughter for a dance clinic on the FSU campus. Didn't stay long enough to take advantage workout center, pool was closed for the time we were there. Area very walkable especially to the football stadium. Breakfast was nice.

Hotel on edge of FSU campus. It was adequate, nothing spectacular but for the price it was good. They have to lock the front doors at night due to questionable people around the area, which is necessary but annoying when trying to get in and out before 8 am. But the staff was excellent, the beds comfy. Breakfast was pretty standard but had a variety of breakfast meats instead of only one. One of the towels has questionable stains fortunately it was for the floor. All in all for a quick trip it was fine.

We are right across the street from the FSU campus and not on the edge. We lock the doors at night from 11 pm onwards just like any other hotel. you have access to get in with your room keys.

There was a roach in our bathroom. When we called the front desk to take care of it they said they would give us bug spray to kill it. It’s not my job as the customer to kill a roach and if there’s one I’m sure there are others. Disgusting!!!

Beautiful Hotel! Very Nice and Clean! Very Spacious! The only issue we had is that our wall thermostat did not work but the a/c unit heater did work, took awhile to heat up but kept us warm and toasty while we slept! Will recommend to future visitors.

We were on the third floor and very noisy with guests above us. 4 pillows for 4 people, did manage to find 2 more for us. We forgot to bring ours. Beds were more firm than we are used to. Great location, nice breakfast, good shower, staff was very helpful. If it weren’t for the beds for my husband we’d stay here again.

Highly recommend this HI Express
The GM (Chris) and the staff at the desk were great! They helped us with local information about food and driving instructions that were better than any internet or GPS and on-line maps. The breakfast was also very well done and the hot foods were hot which is not always the case.

The good: service was friendly and the location is very convenient. The less good: The keurig in my room had stale water so not sure how long since it had been cleaned. The room walls are very thin so noise between rooms and the outside was an issue leading to a below average sleep. So a little good, a little less good makes for just ok.
