"This is a charming little inn. Great location, decor and attention to detail. Very comfortable, although I did have the largest room and I believe the only one with a private bathroom. The hostess was very friendly and enthusiastic. I would definitely recommend this accommodation."

"Unfortunately we had problems checking in and had to ring Hotels.com to try and sort it out. After a bit of time, it was finally sorted. The accommodation was as we expected, though a bit expensive for what you get."

Jul. 10, 2019We found all the local folks friendly and helpful, especially the people running the hotel Pionier and the servers at Shayne Chez Matilda restaurant - as a blind traveller in a rule area, this counts for a lot!

Jun. 28, 2019Tadoussac is beautiful and unforgettable. The locals are wonderfully friendly and helpful. The food was invariably excellent everywhere I ate, even the small all-dressed pizza from the microbrewery/bistro on Bord de l'Eau.

Jun. 18, 2019Whale watching was excellent. Tadoussac sand dunes are unique. Saguenay Fjord trip was excellent. Being slightly off season meant fewer crowds.
