"Internet was good. Staff had a problem finding our reservation (through Expedia) but we eventually solved it. View is good from room. Quiet area. The included breakfast buffet is awful. Sits out from start to end with no heat, flies landing on food. You can order pho or eggs fresh which is better. "

"Pros: Beautiful view. The grounds are lovingly maintained and lush. The staff are hardworking, attentive, and friendly. The main highlight of this venue is the food, which is truly world class. Amazing breakfast with incredible french toast. If you value fresh and local ingredients, the quality here is hard to top. We would have loved to do the cooking class but did not get the time to. Dinners were great too, albeit not included and relatively expensive for Vietnam. Great location - 10 minute drive to Sapatown but far enough away to be mostly quiet. The pool with the view is nice but cool as not heated. The 3 small dogs that roam the premises are friendly/entertaining if you are a dog person. Soft bedding and clean + well sized room. Air conditioning in the room worked well. Cons: No safe in room, however you can leave valuables at front desk. No mini fridge in room. There is an itemized list posted in the room of the cost of any item if you break or damage it. While I appreciate the intent of clear communication, it came across a bit hostile and made us hypervigilant to leave no trace. The room soundproofing wasn't great - if a loud car came by, you heard it, albeit infrequent - same goes for the birds chirping at sunrise. Most daytime activities were not included and costed significantly more compared to organizing independently - we opted to organize our own trekking. At 170 CAD a night for the seasonal house + breakfast included, we felt it was moderately overpriced."

"Horrible experience at this hotel. Do not recommend. A few things to note about the bad food and poor amenities: - Restaurant staff for dinner was slow and did not come take our order for 10 minutes even though it was basically empty. The drinks took 20 minutes to show up. They were canned beers. Food had no taste. “French onion soup” looked like blended up bland cauliflower. “Hawaiian pizza” came as only red peppers and olives. The salmon was full of bones. - Breakfast was half dinner food, like French fries and spaghetti. Lacked pastries, just had white bread. - Toilets in the lobby and gym did not work. No water pressure and didn’t flush. No toilet paper. - Gym had no weights. Just a few plates and a bench. - The bed mattress was hard. The bathroom shower soaked the entire bathroom floor making it a hazard. Had to use the bath towels to dry everything after the shower. - The lights above the bed did not turn off with any light switch so had to have the room key out of the power source all night. - The buggie to drive you from your room to the lobby never showed up every time we called. Had to walk the steep hills every time. "

"Our stay was most memorable. The team at Eco Palms House was over the top fantastic. Nam and Be were oustanding in accommodating every need. Complements to the chef who perpared our meals. We found ourselves enjoying the meals at Eco Palms House as one of the best restaurants in Sapa. Definitely a must stay."
