"Ruken Konagi is a beautiful old building in a convenient location. The beds were reasonably comfortable and the staff were very helpful. Unfortunately there is no sound insulation, so you can hear everything that happens in the building - talking in the hallways, other alarms etc. Breakfast was basic, but acceptable. "

"Fabulous, almost new boutique hotel with 7 rooms half way up the hill at the back of the markets. Owner was friendly and helpful, arranging us tickets at a local event. The included breakfast was small but sufficient. (just watch the costs associated with 'welcome tea' and 'breakfast coffee')"

The Turkish breakfast is excellent, but if you're looking for all-inclusive, this isn't the place for you. The rooms are unique, warm, the water is hot, and the shower is spacious. The bed is comfortable, which is a big plus after a busy day. The terraces overlooking the plain are a special highlight, as are several of them. You can drink wine and take beautiful photos...

"We were very pleased with the breakfast, but the breakfast location itself is not in the hotel but in a restaurant on the main street, which is not easy to reach on foot up the stairs.Overall we really liked the hotel and the wonderful, polite staff.The hotel is like a real castle with spacious verandas and a beautiful view of the valley and the fortress on the mountain. The place is very quiet and calm for enjoying the beauty, I recommend it to everyone."

Leaking bathroom ceiling, broken shower head, insufficient air conditioning … Our room was facing the street on the first floor, and the windows were in bad condition. I couldn’t sleep until about 3am because of the level of the noise. Staff is friendly and welcoming. I hope the owner can improve the property condition. "
