"Nyon hostel is quite as described by other reviews. It is very clean except the rooms you sleep in because of the type of travellers who are inconsiderate about others. These selfish and ignorent travellers should be told to clean up after them but the hostel takes a dim view of its responsibility to ensure every traveller feels safe and is able to sleep peacefully. "A very clean hostel and friendly staff members. I forgot my slippers and walked around the room and toilet with my bare feet and didn't feel much dirt. Close to the Zurich lake with beautiful neighbourhood. It is a bit far from Zurich centre but overall a very good stay."

"We are glad we chose this hostel for our one night stay. The only tricky part was finding the S21 to Trogen as it is past the train station near a corner and unmarked, but a local helped us. The hostel is a short walk down a steep incline from the Birnbaume stop. It is clean and the breakfast is adequate. The view from the cafeteria is lovely. Board the S21 back towards town to Marktplatz to visit the Cathedral and Abbey Library."

"an absolute lack of cleanliness, I have never seen such an amount of dust in my life, the surprising thing is the windows were open to ventilate, and they did not even have 2 minutes to clean the dust from the tables and chairs, the bathroom was extremely dirty, the The bathtub has not been used in months, it was full of dust and pieces of glass. The first thing I did was go to the supermarket and buy product and a brush to clean because I was so embarrassed to see that dirt."

"This was a lovely hotel. Great location (literally steps away from public transit and grocery stores) with a nice garden out front. The room was nicely furnished and had a handy microwave and fridge. The hotel also had a laundry room. The only thing stopping this hotel from getting a 4 star was the shower. The shower could not maintain a constant temperature and would fluctuate constantly from freezing cold to scorching hot without touching the controls. "
