The owner are very friendly welcoming and the accommodation is very clean just i am in my own house. Quiet environment and very safe indeed. Meet all my expectations and surely recommend for a good 👍 stay over.

Dear Jackie, Russell, Thank you for welcoming us into your home and making us welcome. A comfortable and soft bed in a beautifully decorated bedroom was great. Waking up to birds and rain in the morning, I found it peaceful, soothing, and relaxing. Thank you. A clean bathroom facility with a view to the back garden is respected and appreciated. Car parking facility, thank you for letting me park in your driveway. I am grateful for your friendly, kind, and welcoming openness to allow us to enjoy our stay with you and cherish the local nature, sea and walks to three cliffs. Thank you

Lovely stay in Bishopston. Comfortable, very clean, welcoming and well situated for exploring the Gower Peninsula. The hosts were very friendly, helpful and hard working offering good advice on where to eat and visit in the area. They also very kindly supplied me with fresh milk twice a day for tea and even recommended a local garage to take my car to who looked at it free of charge. A really nice trip to the Gower

Jackie is a wonderful host. Friendly helpful and warm. The room was very pleasant and clean. Tea and coffee making available. A mini fridge would be useful to keep water and milk cool. Bishopston is a great base for a solo traveller. A Co op is nearby and the local pub is a few doors down for food and drinks. I found people to be friendly and helpful. The pub is just a few doors away and closes at 11pm. I stayed during a hot spell of sunny weather which meant the outside was busy. But it quietened down soon enough after closing. This may be a consideration for those who like an early night and are light sleepers. Overall I was very happy with my stay.

The owners of the property are very welcoming and there home is very clean. The room had its own keys and was maintained very well. I slept with no issues and would highly recommend

Nothing quite right about this property, very poor lighting, especially bedside. Next to a noisy pub which made parking difficult, nowhere nearby to get breakfast, not much wardrobe space as used for someone else's storage. Tea cups but no teapot, so forever heating kettle. Bathroom and shower ok, but no separate toilet and it was shared by 3 rooms.

Hi Timothy sorry that you were not happy with your room, two wardrobes to hang your clothes and eight draws for clothes, lighting? Lighting above the bed in the alcove, sorry about no tea pot, plent of places to go for breakfast, mumbles and Southgate. When you booked it does state that I do not do breakfast room only. Exceeded Expectations
The accommodation exceeded expectations. We liked its location next to a very friendly pub and not having to use the car, being able to walk to the coastal footpaths. We also appreciated Jackie's care and attention to detail; everything we needed - and more - was provided. We've stayed on the Gower many times and this was one of the best!

No problem with room apart from smell of stale cigarette smoke or curry? TV not working despite asking owner, which was disappointing. No breakfast, despite showing on website?!

Hi Nigel, sorry about your complaint, the room did not smell of smoke or curry as the previous get did not eat in the rooms and was a smoker, the previouse guest was out all day working and on there return went straight to bed. The room are cleaned and bedding changed and satatized after very guest vacate I do appologize for the TV not working, not much we could do as you arrived so late. It does say on your web site vactional rooms only. kind regards Jackie.

Super stay!
Great stay, fantastic location for walking the coastal path! Didn’t need to drive again after we arrived. Lovely pubs nearby that serve tasty food fast. Super friendly hosts and comfy, clean room. Super breakfast, we were full leaving each morning to explore the area - walking to the mumbles and three cliffs bay. Would definitely recommend.

Friendly and cosy B and B
A really lovely B and B in a great location. The owners were very friendly and welcoming, the room was very nice and comfortable, and breakfast was great! We were able to park just outside and it was well located to visit the Gower beaches

Lovely B&B and lovely owners. Thank you for a fab stay. Room was clean and comfortable, bathroom was spacious and had all the small touches that made it feel like home. Breakfast was lovely too.

Absolute delight

Myrtle Cottage, Bishopston, Gower.
The cottage was perfect in every way. Our hosts were friendly, warm and helpful. We wished we could have stayed longer and will return later in the year as time permits. We would recommend this b&b to anyone wishing to holidaying in Gower.

We only stayed 1 night but were made to feel very welcome by Jackie and Russell. The area that tha B&B is in is lovely and quiet and not far from Swansea or The Mumbles. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Stayed a couple of nights in this beautiful and very well located cottage - ideal for exploring the Gower, and great for access to the coastal path. Jackie does a great breakfast, and also had the option to breakfast in the pretty garden when the weather allowed. Would definitely come back!

I had a fabulous three nights at Myrtle Cottage B&B. It was very clean and comfortable. Jackie and Russell were lovely, and made me feel welcome. There are two pubs serving food right next door, and I could easily walk to a beach. The breakfast was perfect every day. I would love to go back, and would highly recommend.

Fantastic stay lovely clean room with jacuzzi bath tea and coffee and milk all supplied in the room.Really comfortable bed stone throw away from 2 pubs. Breakfast was really good really enjoyed our 1 night stay would definitely recommend the owners were very welcoming.
