The Cabin at Little Bee Woods was completed in December of 2022, and we are excited to welcome our guests to this modern, comfortable cottage and its grounds. The cabin has two bedrooms and two full bathrooms, sleeping seven guests. The primary bedroom has a king-sized bed with a twin, and the secondary bedroom has a queen and a twin. The living room has a convertible, yet comfortable, sofa to accommodate additional guests. The great room has an open floor plan, a gourmet kitchen, a large dining table, and a living room with a flat-screen TV. The entryway to the cottage is a two-hundred-square-foot timber frame screened-in porch with a table perfect for morning coffee or an afternoon cocktail while watching the sunset over Watch Knob. We are the ideal spot for a romantic getaway, family vacation, couples vacation, or micro-events. Black Mountain is fifteen minutes door-to-door, and Asheville is twenty-five minutes. Super clean, bright, airy. Kitchen was very well appointed. As the cook in my group, I loved cooking in this kitchen and wanted for nothing. Owners were super communicative and they provided an awesome check-in/out guide, kitchen guide and even gave us recommendations for activities and restaurants. Beds were super comfortable. Just bring your clothes and food. The kitchen and bathrooms are fully stocked with soaps, spices and detergent. The home has all of the modern amenities in a glorious peaceful setting. It’s really difficult to leave the wonderful screened in porch and the unimpeded views. Not a structure in sight! Our family really enjoyed the deck and smokeless fire pit. There’s a great hot tub that we ran out of time to use…hopefully next time. The location is great for accessing all of the desirable locales in the area while still being one of the most serene homes we have ever visited. Book it! You won’t be disappointed. And of course the hot tub is great to unwind after a day of hiking. We really enjoyed the town of Black Mountain nearby, many cute shops and restaurants.The property is clearly loved and well taken care of by its owners (which unfortunately can't be said for all vacation rentals!). Loved the landscaping, front porch and the deck. Nice views. This place was so well stocked w/everything you need and high end quality. Owner kept in touch w/us throughout stay to make sure all good. Going up the mountain to get to cabin was a bit tricky at times but still working on area since the Hurricane so totally understand. My husband and I stayed for the weekend with our two dogs and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is a beautiful, new structure with all the amenities you could ask for, with an ideal layout for 2 couples. By far the favorite part is the screened in porch overlooking the mountains — perfect for morning coffee and evening cocktails. We even saw a bear stroll by (we were safely ensconced on the porch). Only a 20 minute drive to downtown Asheville, with easy access to all of the outdoor activities you might want to enjoy in the area. Do be aware that the house is perched atop a mountain accessed via a steep gravel road with a few hairpin turns — best to arrive during daylight the first time. ##### Pamela C. Charles was wonderful and easy going to work with. The surroundings were exactly what we were hoping for, the cabin clean, cute, yet spacious. I don't think there is anything he forgot to supply the kitchen with. We spent several mornings and evenings out on the porch enjoying the view and nature watching.
