« Loads of parking and I was made to feel welcome as soon as I entered the building. I was shown to my room and felt very well looked after. I ate in the restaurant both for evening meal and breakfast and the food was superb! »

The check-in was fast and smooth with nice staff, the room was comfortable with easy adjustment of the temperature, the kettle & instant coffee were most welcome, the bathroom amenities were great, the shower was well designed with suitable water pressure. « Great communication from the hotel before and during our stay, our room was clean and well equipped, breakfast was excellent, were unfortunately unable to park on the street outside, but there is a pay and display car park on the next street. »

« Clean room, clean kitchen. Some issues with heating and hot water, but the landlord was on it quickly, good place to stay for work. »

« The room very basic and in need of a refurbishment the carpet was stained with burn marks, the bed very uncomfortable and not the cleanest, the bathroom had stains and was in need of a deep clean, furniture was in serious need of a coat of paint, along with the whole part of the hotel. « We loved our stay at this gem of a BnB. The massive bed and the hearty breakfast gave us the energy to explore the area and made any jet lag a non-issue. Sue and Gary are wonderful hosts and provide as little or as much interaction as you want and were very helpful with ideas for locale, especially dinner. Sawby is a cute English town and the locals were very friendly when we went for walks. »

« We stayed for 3 weeks and didn't want to leave. Situated in calm and peaceful countryside, great for walking, and hedgehogs visiting us on a night. It even has its own lake if you fancy going fishing. No worries about rushing back early on a night to find a parking place, your vehicle is safe and secure. Everything is provided to make your stay comfortable and relaxing - all you need bring is your toothbrush. We'll be back soon. »
