Find hotels in Susacón from CA $27

The best area to stay in Susacón is generally within the town centre itself, which is quite compact and offers the most convenience.

The town centre of Susacón is built around its main square, the Plaza de Susacón, where you'll find the most readily available accommodation and dining options. It's a small, walkable area with the Iglesia de Susacón (church) as a prominent landmark. The main streets around the plaza offer local shops and eateries.

For travellers looking for a relaxed experience, staying near the Plaza de Susacón is ideal. Its central location means you're close to everything the town offers, making it easy to stroll to a cafe or visit the local market without needing transport. This is particularly good for those who appreciate being able to explore on foot and enjoy the local rhythms.

For those interested in exploring the natural beauty surrounding Susacón, staying within the town centre still offers the best base. Many local operators or guides for outdoor activities can be found or arranged from this central point, and it's where any public transport connections would originate.

The best time to visit Susacón for pleasant weather and clear skies is generally during the dry season, which runs from December to March and again from July to August.

During these months, you'll experience less rainfall and more sunshine, making it ideal for exploring the town and its surroundings. The temperatures are typically mild and comfortable, great for outdoor activities such as hiking or simply enjoying the natural beauty of the Boyacá region. This period is particularly good for those looking to engage in photography or participate in local festivals that often take place in drier conditions.

Conversely, the rainy seasons, from April to June and September to November, bring more precipitation. While the landscapes become lush and green, outdoor plans can be impacted by frequent showers. However, if you don't mind the rain, these months can offer a quieter experience with fewer tourists and potentially lower prices for accommodation.
