Peaceful Rural Location Set Within 5 Acres Of Pasture and Woodland, pet friendly

"Beautiful cottage, with super lovely garden/grounds - woodland walk, tree house and other walks right on the doorstep. The cottage is spacious with a triple room downstairs and a bathroom/double bedroom upstairs. The upstairs bedroom has good blackout blinds and there was plenty of storage space, and room for travel cot if required. There is a comfy sofa, dining room table and TV with good internet connection.There is an undercover fridge with small freezer built in, along with a washing machine and even a bottle cooler.There is a storage box in the porch full of kids board games and bats /balls. The garden is at the front of the property (along with parking), and is enclosed with some big gates. We had a dog that doesn't mix well with other dogs/people and Lynda made sure to keep their dogs in a separate part of the property. Access to the property for deliveries/visitors is through the enclosed area.The cottage is located around 30 minutes from the beach- we found Westward Ho! the most accessible for our elderly dog. Nearby we highly recommend the The Old Farmhouse Kitchen and Tearoom for a wonderful afternoon tea.The cottage is an excellent price.We really enjoyed our stay and were sad to have to leave early due to a medical issue. Thanks so much for having us to stay!"

"We had an absolutely fantastic stay! From the moment we arrived, Stephen gave us a warm, incredibly friendly welcome and made us feel right at home immediately. We stayed in Room 3, which was immaculately clean and thoughtfully equipped with absolutely everything we could possibly need. The kitchen area was a brilliant touch, and we absolutely loved the generously sized bathroom and superb shower. Thanks to the wonderfully peaceful and quiet location, we enjoyed a brilliant, uninterrupted night's sleep in the massive, comfortable bed. To top it all off, we were treated to an amazing breakfast every morning. We cannot recommend this place highly enough and are already looking forward to staying here again sometime."

"Has a wonderful stay here. Very comfortable cottage with everything you need. Stunning views across the beautiful Devon countryside with sunsets too! Close to some amazing beaches and a great base to explore north Devon and beyond. Lovely hosts a fab cream tea and can’t wait to return someday!"

"Feb half term with friends and family, perfect location, had the pool to ourselves, great walks!!! The accommodation was a prefect layout for us, dishwasher also!!! The bed linen was spotless I have even ordered the pillows that they use, as I have never loved a pillow so much!!!"
