Quiet Hiden gem
Cottage was clean and well equipped..Very close to the beaches which are beautiful. Landlord were near if we needed anything.But the best part was the fenced in yard as one of our fur babies is an escape artist and we wanted somewhere where she could run And she loved it..Bed was very comfortable and Kitchen was well equipped…Would definitely stay again if available..

A sweet spot even if you don't bring your dog.
We don't have a dog, so i wondered about staying in a dog-friendly vrbo. The home was immaculate with no scent of animals or dirt. We especially loved the quiet and private back and front porches. Convenient to many beaches, we saw the sunset on Sunset beach as well as gathered sea biscuits on Holden beach. A great mini-vacation for hubby and me. Kitchen well stocked to cook anything.

Beach getaway w poodle
Darling 1bed 1 bath Guest apt w carport & all amenities. I was there for 4 nights w my toy poodle. The host was absolutely wonderful communicating abt area attractions, eateries, beaches, instructions, & available for any questions. I spoke w her on several occasions before check in abt questions & she was very thorough & extremely pleasant. The beach being appx 1 mile away was WONDERFUL!!!! HIGHLY recommended. I truly hope to make this an annual event & would LOVE to stay here again. ☆☆☆☆☆

Near Beach & Great for Pets
Perfect location near Holden Beach. Nice restaurants and a wide sandy beach with great fossil hunting! Convenient accommodations for our 2 little dogs. We were able to enjoy the nice weather on a covered porch area while our dogs were safe and secure within an adjacent large private fenced yard. The cottage was clean and tidy and well equipped, including a washer/dryer. King sized bed is especially comfy. Hosts are extremely helpful and responsive. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Wonderful place to stay central to Holden beach,Ocean Isle Beach, Southport and Oak Island. Clean cozy and well appointed place to stay for a couple with a pet. We had a wonderful time staying here for the week.

Shelling for Sea Biscuits
This little cottage was perfect for a little weekend getaway for my 55th birthday! Clean and spacious for its size. Dog friendly with fenced in backyard. Our little fur baby loved it! My goal for finding Sea Biscuits was accomplished. Only regret, was our stay was too short.

Cutest and cleanest beachy getaway!
My husband, dog and I stayed at this property and it was an incredible weekend getaway! The host was amazing at communication (the best communication I’ve ever had with VRBO!) and truly thoughtful. The cottage was quaint and had all of the necessities. It was decorated so cute and completely spotless inside! The fenced back yard was a huge plus for our dog! The only thing I’d note is that though it is only about a mile from the beach, it isn’t walkable due to the road and bridge. Not a negative, but just a good thing to note if you’re a big walker. But it is quick and easy drive to the beach. And an added bonus - the property is just across the street from a wonderful deli to grab lunch from :) the perfect getaway and the best hosts! I’d definitely stay again.

Great place for humans and dogs alike - We were on Holden in Beach within five minutes, and the pups enjoyed the fenced backyard. Excellent and responsive communication with the owner. Highly recommend!

Linda was an awesome host - timely replies to any questions, accommodating on check-in and check-out based on the circumstances, and has a very cozy and gorgeous home within a short drive to Holden Beach. It felt good to know she was just a quick text away for anything that came up question wise - and was helpful in providing information on the local scene considering it was our first time to that area ever. Would highly recommend her place!

Sparking clean one bedroom cottage, dog friendly. Small fenced backyard made it especially comfortable. Pastel colors for the interior walls quite soothing. Queen bed very nice. Communication with owner is easy. Bathroom and kitchen as advertised.

Perfect beach getaway
This charming, impeccably clean bungalow has absolutely everything you need to have a relaxing vacation a mile from the beach. The kitchen has all the necessities for cooking and there is a gas grill in the fabulous backyard. The house was spotless and the hosts were very welcoming. The fenced in backyard makes it ideal for those traveling with dogs. There is a grocery store, liquor store, Walgreens, and the ubiquitous Dollar general within a two minute drive. There is also a fish shop and a sandwich shop a minutes walk away. The beach is five minutes by car but it’s worth taking an extra ten minute drive down the island towards the fishing pier to access a super nice beach. Overall this is a great place to enjoy a quiet vacation away from the hustle and bustle of places like Myrtle Beach.

Nice place
If you are bringing your pet with you, this is a pretty nice place to stay. Nice back yard. The only thing is there is no good doors in the inside of the house so if you need to block you pet from an area, you might want to bring a gate. Especially if your pet tries to take showers with you. We would definitely stay here again.

The Cozy Cottage was exactly that.The fenced in backyard was everything. Felt safe enough to sit out on patio until wee hours of the morning. Plenty of space for 4 adults even though there was only 2 of us. Clean, well stocked with basics and easy checkin/out. We had to drive 30 minutes to wedding venue but other conveniences are 3 mins away (abc, grocery, restaurants).

Perfect Anniversary Getaway
We could not be happier with this house or the hosts. The house is perfect for two but the best part is the fenced in backyard if you bring a pet. The host was so helpful in helping with our bucket list of seeing sea turtles and was in constant communication. We will definitely be back!

Cottage ideal for pups
This was a tiny cottage that had everything you need for a beach trip for a couple and pups. Really quick drive to the beach and the carport keeps the car nice in the shade. Only interesting element is there is no bathroom door - it wasn’t an issue for us - but if you are a high privacy person, please note.

The house was very well thought out and was equipped with everything we needed for a short stay at the beach. The fact that it was dog friendly was a big bonus for us. If your first thought is that dog friendly means a little on the rough side your mistaken. The house was very well kept and neat as a pin!

Anniversary Getaway
my husband and myself came to stay for our wedding anniversary and it was the PERFECT place to do so! it was so cozy for just us! we really enjoyed cooking in the evenings and the kitchen had all the appliances we needed to make dinner. we definitely enjoyed the cornhole boards and the private fenced in backyard! the drive to the beach was not far at all and made it easy for us to enjoy and make the most of our time spent here. we also loved that the house has a carport with plenty of room for us to take the top off our jeep and not have to put it back on at night, so that was a big plus for us! everything was very clean and the check-in/out process was super easy! 10/10 would highly recommend!

This was a great little cottage that is perfect for two people. Host was very responsive when needed. We really appreciated the beach towels, beach chairs, wifi, and laundry available. The property appeared to be recently renovated, and the furniture and linens were comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. Property was very close to the bridge to Holden Beach and right on the main road which was super convenient. I would definitely recommend this property to any 2-person family or couple.

Lovely little tiny house with beautiful backyard
We needed a beautiful fenced backyard for our fur babies to come for a beach getaway and this place did not disappoint. It was very clean, updated, comfortable (I slept like a baby), and my dogs had a blast. It was located next to two food places and within a minute from shopping and gas. The beach was only 5 minutes away if that. Great place! Great hospitality! Just bring TP LOL

Great Pet Friendly Cottage
This was an ideal place for us; a couple traveling with our dog. The house is newly renovated with lovely decor. It has a carport and a fenced in back yard with patio. Although we didn't do much cooking, the owners have the kitchen stocked with most everything you could need. Check-in and check-out were very easy. The owner met us when we checked in and made sure we understood the particulars/answered any questions. Overall, a great experience!

My daughter and I loved staying here and had everything we needed for a quick get-away! Not only close to the beach but convenient to shops, stores and restaurants. We didn't bring pets but it's a nice set up for those who might wish to. Host is friendly and attentive A++++
