We provide everything guests need for a stress free getaway. This single family home is conveniently located in a quaint neighborhood right across the street from Webster Dream Park. The house is only 1 level and easily accessible from the alley. Guests will have access to the entire main level of the house. The unfinished basement will be off limits for our guests. Please no pets and no smoking. Leave your shoes off at the door. Use the back side door for easy entry from the alley. We even got to experience the first snow of the season. There was a shovel onsite to help us get to our vehicles. Unfortunately, the snow removal crew was not able to come to the house due to their vehicle breaking down, but the management company came over on Thanksgiving morning to finish the cleaning we had started. We then saw the shower curtain laying in the middle of the living room floor. In the bathroom, the shower and tub were taped off, the drain was removed and was lying in the bathroom sink along with the tub mat. The hair on the strainer, sink and mat were gross. There was also construction dust all over the bathroom and hallway. After the hosts were notified of this, they said the plumbing was actually functional and told us we could reassemble the bathroom and they would look into the smoke. Although contrite, the hosts were dismissive of the situation. They offered to remove the cleaning fee which was 15%? We were expecting a getaway, not reassembling and cleaning the bathroom. Removing the cleaning fee does not cover the stale smoke, gross hair, and state of the bathroom. A few suggestions: a bolt fell out of my dining table chair and I found that all four bolts attaching the legs were very loose and needed serious tightening. I suggest regular checks of the dining chairs. Second, like most bathroom sinks, this one emptied very slowly; suggest snaking it soon. I used the microwave and the toaster only and they worked well. Our main purpose was to tour several colleges in the area and spend time site seeing. This little home was very comfortable we had very clear and prompt communication with the hosts. This is an older home and there were some interior imperfections but overall, this was the cleanest VRBO we've stayed at so far. Wasn’t sure if sink water was safe to drink, and no filtered options were available in the house. Nice play to stay for a night, but the ship horns are VERY loud due to the proximity of this house to the port. Woke us ip twice. Convenient location besides that. I am from South Superior and a large part of my family still lives there, including cousins that live literally next door. We were able to walk to our favorite place, the Shamrock, which has the best pizza in Superior (or anywhere as far as I’m concerned). Get the Ken’s Special but be prepared to pay cash. The house itself is a great little place with everything you could need. Perfect for a couple or two, as the couch pulls out into a bed. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and furnishings plenty of space. Be prepared for small quirks that are present in all older homes, but nothing that should deter anyone from staying here. Just a few minutes to downtown Superior and Duluth. Property managers were friendly and quick to respond. Would definitely stay here again. ##### TIffany M.
