120 km north of Kajaani. Lake Pesiönjärvi 35 m (length 8 km, breadth 5 km), shallow water, firm clay bottom. Own boat. Log cabin 1991, living room/kitchen, bedroom with 2 beds, sleeping loft (15 m² with low room height) with 2 mattresses (steep stairs), washroom, sauna (electric sauna stove), open veranda. Smoke sauna by arrangement. Fish stocks in Lake Pesiönjärvi: perch, roach and pike.

Peaceful lakeside cottage

We were so pleased with everything about our stay at this cottage for 3 days. The cottage was spotless, everything was in very good working order. The sauna was so nice to use and we even jumped in the lake after sauna. We would definitely stay again! Kiitos Veikko

Peaceful cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights at the cottage. It was very comfortable and clean. All of the appliances were in good working order. We loved sitting on the dock in the evenings. After taking sauna we even jumped in the lake! We would come back if we are ever in this part of Finland again.
