The property was very clean and well kept, with firm beds, comfortable bedding and fully appointed kitchen. It was “walk in ready” to go. The area is very serene and walkable, and a few steps from beautiful Lake Bernard, several public beaches, and the quiet downtown of Sundridge. There were amenities for food to eat in or out to make it an easy place to live for two weeks. It was an absolutely wonderful place to stay and met our needs perfectly. Hostess Cheryl has thought of everything. Thank you so much for sharing your property with us.

Great spot to stay
The Pine and Birch was a cozy place to stay while visiting family in Sundridge. Everything was as-described, efficient, and clean. The only challenge was frequently disconnecting and slow internet. Had that worked better this would be a 5 star review.

Thank you for the review Brodie! We can’t wait until Lakeland Networks installs our Fibre cables. We too are tired of the DSL option.

Good Home Base For Exploring The Area
My wife and I enjoyed our stay. The cottage had everything we needed. Cheryl is an excellent host. One thing, if you’re here for a beach vacation, be prepared to drive to get there. I assumed the beach was at the end of the street but that’s private property and you have to walk over to the next street to access a public beach. You might also want to hit a beach on Eagle Lake, around 20 minutes away.

Hi Daniel! Thank you for the comments! Just a note that the end of the road is public access, so say you had canoes or kayaks you could launch them there, and Lake Bernard has many public beaches along its shores. Especially the main Lions Park and Checkerboard beach. The more private public Beach that is the next street over is only a few minutes car ride and a favourite of past renters and our family. Glad you checked out Eagle Lake and mentioned it too, it’s beautiful as well!

Cute and cozy!
Cheryl's property was very warm, cute and cozy! She provided all the essentials that we needed for our stay, and was super quick to respond to any questions that I had leading up to and during our stay. The cottage was very well kept, and was close to the hub of Sundridge. I highly recommend!! 🙂
