8/10 Good

"Rooms on bottom floor have very high ceilings and echos are made easy, but that's minor. Had to go to the desk to fix my key card for the room 5 times. A/c in the room was unreliable and didn't work as well as it should have. Pool was very clean and nice, towels available at the pool. Cleaning services are only available upon request, which we didn't know ahead of time, so 3 days and no towels or trash pick up. Overall, nice place."

"My husband and I were looking for a small place to stay , that was rustic and outdoor as he loves hunting, wildlife and being outdoors. We found it!! It was private , roomy and had everything we needed . The bed was very comfortable and the patio is where we spent most of our time. We listened to the brook for hours and even sat out after dark. We are currently planning our next trip for the fall. It couldn't have been any better and suited our needs very much."

"This hotel is one of the nicer places to stay in Mountain Home. It's not the Ritz - but it is CLEAN (don't let the main lobby area sway you - the rooms were spotless!), and the staff was constantly ABOVE AND BEYOND on asking if you need anything, asking if they can assist in anyway. I usually HATE hotel room carpets - but our room was nearly SPOTLESS. It was a hot day and our room AC was SUPER COLD! We didn't stay long, but the morning, freshly ground and brewed coffee was actually really good. The parking lot is well lit at night and there was ample parking close to the front door. We stayed on the 3rd floor, right around the corner from the elevator (which I usually dread) - and never heard a single sound all night long! The morning breakfast was ample - with hot and cold foods, fresh fruit, breads, etc., but since we didn't actually try anything, I won't comment on that. Will I be back the next time I roll through? Yes, indeed. AND, in case you do not know this - there is a bar downtown called the Square Piano. It's about a mile away - and SO MUCH FUN!!! Check it out! We were there on a Thursday night, which is jam session night, and one of the regulars is Charlie Askew from American Idol - perfect pitch!"

"Our visit was great! Just a few things for future patrons, the room upstairs has no lights, an air conditioner in the window and the beds conclude of an air mattress and a regular mattress. Neither of my kids wanted to stay in there so one slept on the couch which was comfy. Love the front porch! We used the grill and the smoker, both need a good clean but they worked great. The bunk beds and other bed was super comfy. The back porch has no light which made grilling in the dark a little difficult but overall we loved the house! Would recommend."
