"Room was beautiful with a balcony facing the river and The Kaunos rock tombs! A+. Lovely staff. However!! Non smokers beware!!! I believe 40% of Turks smoke. I was woken up so many times during my 3 night stay from my room being smoked out!!! Opening the balcony door was impossible for 2 of the nights since it was raining heavily. Call the reception? I did. However after that I realised how futile that is. When you provide an ashtray in the room, it’s a license to smoke! I would never stay there again. I think that 3 nights =my 20 years of passive smoking. "

"The location was superb and whilst the room was fairly basic, it was good value for money, more than adequate and spotless. The staff were very friendly and always wearing a smile! "We loved everything about the Dalyan Holiday Hotel. It was peaceful, shady and relaxed, and the view of the Lycian tombs from the river terrace is absolutely spectacular. Kerem is an incredible host who makes you feel immediately welcome and at home. The room (we had a family room for two adults and two teens) was simple, cool and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing - not only delicious and generous, but served by the river alongside the turtles who turned up every day for their share! It was magical - a really special start to our holiday and what felt like a happy accident given we had just been looking for somewhere within easy reach of Dalaman airport. One piece of advice - the reception is at the back of the hotel after you enter from the street. We arrived at night and were (briefly) unsure if we were in the right place. Just walk through towards the garden and you’ll find yourself in a lovely comfortable lounge full of art. Don’t judge until you get there. "

"Firstly, Orhan is a great host and looked after us very well.We were a group of 10 family members, spanning 3 generations with an age range of 2-70 years, and we all had a wonderful time at the villa. The pool and garden are fantastic and kept everyone happy for hours each day, which meant that we did not have to continually look for attractions to visit. The villa is located on the edge of town which is quite a long walk along some rough roads, but this also meant that it was in a very peaceful location.There were a couple of minor issues inside the villa that could do with fixing to improve the experience even more. One of the double beds downstairs was very creaky when people moved in the night, and one of the window blinds in a downstairs bedroom was broken and there wasn't a thick curtain in that room to block out the light.Thank you Orhan, we shall remember this holiday for a very long time."
