But they took forever to clean our room, our friends room was very gross and had large bugs in it, ours was totally fine. The pool from the photo looks larger than it actually is. We actually had a great time at the pool. The outdoor bar is a hidden gem. Super huge and under used. It was a nice place but I’m not sure I would go back. Upon check in, I was charged $931 which included the room and a $300 incidental hold. I was not informed of what I was being charged when checking in so that was my fault. "It was hard to keep the room cool which effected sleep by a lot. It's a very quaint, not well updated hotel. Like a motel 6 near the beach. Balcony view was okay but worth far less than what I paid. Very basic, not great breakfast. Overall, just okay."

They did not offer an airport shuttle, which was disappointing and they only have 2 restaurants, and only one of them offers breakfast, but they do offer a daily free shuttle into downtown Charleston. We did not use the shuttle, instead we paid and went to Charleston daily via the water taxi, which was fun and inexpensive and great experience. I would recommend this place to others, and I would stay here...
