This building would be cool if it had been maintained at all over the last 50 yrs. Broken tiles in the bathroom, wallpaper falling off the walls, porch steps that are 1 big southerner away from caving in. Save your money and stay elsewhere.

BEWARE if using a debit card. This hotel had almost $3000 of my money and I only owed them $773.35. I booked a 3 night stay through Hotels.com. The total for our stay was $1106.93. I paid $333.58 through Hotels.com when I made the reservation. Therefore, only owed $773.35. Upon check in, I was charged $931 which included the room and a $300 incidental hold. I was not informed of what I was being charged when checking in so that was my fault. I have since learned what the $931 charge included. Upon checking out, there was one kid working the desk. It took quite a while to check out while he played with the computer. He asked if I wanted a receipt printed or emailed. I told him email was fine. They had a hard time running my card so they texted me and told me there was an issue. I transferred money from one account to another and had them run the charge again. Between Oct 29 and Nov 1, they put a hold on $931, $631, $631, $631, $140.12 for amenities and taxes and $2.26 destination fee. The hotel had a total of $2966.38 of my money. My bank told me they tried to debit my card for $631 10 times. It took 5 days for the initial $931 to fall off my account. It took another 5 days for the extra $631 and $631 to fall off my account. I asked for a receipt to be emailed to me 3 times and no one sent one. I finally got in touch with the manager, which took some time, who finally sent me my receipt. This was a nice hotel but we will NOT be back due to the incompetent staff
