During this time, we have never experienced anything that would jeopardize the safety and security of our guests, which we take very seriously.The Good Samaritan Centre provides a vital service to the City and the area, and while it is true from time to time may look unsafe, or rough the persons associated with that Centre, are citizens who need help and the Centre provides that to them. With respect to our location being close to the CP Rail facilities, some our guests enjoy the view of the rail yards and watching the train activity. Perhaps the next time your travels bring you to Sudbury, ask us to reserve a room on the non railway side, facing away from Paris Street, where the noise levels maybe more to your satisfaction. Thank you for sharing this with us. I can assure you that anytime something like this is reported we do everything to act right away. This starts with putting the room out of order and calling in our pest control to inspect the room. In this case we did just that. After the inspection, the pest control contractor informed us that there was no issue in the room that you stayed in. Further to our recent phone call, we will be more then happy to make thing right. On behalf of our entire team, I would like to apologize for failing to exceed your expectations. We will be using your feedback to make improvements, so that we can provide exceptional experiences for our guests. The weekend you were here, we did have a hocky team in the hotel - which would explain the group in the lobby.As for the smell, I cannot comment on this, as we have never had any complaints made. Since we have an Indian restaurant on-site, the smell of the food may be what you were smelling in the common areas. We hope for an opportunity to properly host you in the future.

The alleged confrontation by 2 men who were aggressive to the point that you felt attacked and harassed was not able to be confirmed. While this was reported to have happened in the lobby, the cameras do show that you and the other guests where in the lobby, however, neither one approached each other in any manner. Any issues with other guests, like noise complaints, should not be addressed by the guest them selves, as in this situation. They should be reported directly to the staff. Reason for this, is that situations may escalate to a point were the staff may have little options to assist.
