"I don’t even know where to begin. We had such a great time at the Beach Barn. It was one of the best places we have ever rented from Vrbo. It was so cozy and the amenities were not lacking anything. The place was tiptop and right on the water. We had small family reunion and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. Excellent host !"

"Both the island in general and this home in particular are both very sweet. It was a lovely place to spend a few days. We saw many deer, a pod of four orcas and just generally enjoyed our time there. I should add, the property is managed by Vacasa with all the downsides for guests that usually entails: dirty dishes were placed back on the shelves (yuck) and the paper goods (toilet paper, tissue, paper towel) are about as low quality as can possibly be purchased. You’ll use far more than if they just stocked it with quality goods. The white bath towels in the bathroom were also full of brown stains. They had been laundered, but were stained and never should have been put back into use. These things did not ruin our stay and we would go back but are worth noting. "
"Pictures on line are very nice, however it doesn’t do it justice ! Place was amazing ! Beautiful view .. had everything you need .. Beds were very comfortable ..Lots of games for adults and kids .. love the decor .,Sad to have to leave .. just want to thank the cleaners again , everything spotless even vents cleaned .. very peaceful , neighbor to the left was very nice .. only one we met .. thank you again "

"Good house for a family if you can climb stairs. The amount of stairs was a surprise. . Location on the water was fabulous for kayaking. We thought it would be easy to get our kayaks down to the water from the parking area - NOT. We ended up driving to the community beach area to put our kayaks in. Saw a gray whale!! We still had a great time. Ants on the counter. Pest control needs to visit."
Island house located on Stretch Island close to Fair Harbor

"My daughter and I spent a week on Stretch Island. We really liked the location and the break from road noise. The sounds from the water and birds was so relaxing. I wanted to be able to bottle it up. The accommodations were nice as well. Amenities like pots and pans and a coffee maker were my big check off items and there was no issue with those items as well. The only issue I had was that VRBO removed the listing information and for some reason, I didn't immediately have access to all of the check-in and check-out info. When I contacted the owner to get the check-out info, she was shocked that it was missing as well. But, we got everything figured out and enjoyed our stay. "
"We spent our annual family vacation at Water Front Allyn Retreat. 10 of us fit comfortably in the home and bonus MIL suite (which was perfect for Grandma). The location was central for day trips to nearby parks, Defiance Point Peninsula and Olympic National Park. However, we didn’t have to leave to enjoy the view or wildlife. From the expansive deck we were able to see sea lions, whales and waterfowl on the Case Inlet. The house was fully stocked with amenities, the open kitchen was perfect for family meals and we were able to enjoy the view while cooking. We also enjoyed the view while cooking outside on the gas grill and Blackstone and enjoying several evening fires. There was plenty of room for everyone to relax and the kiddos enjoyed the bonus TV/game room. On our last day we set up all the games in the garage for yard Olympics including: beanbags, pickleball, basketball, disc golf and ping pong it was perfect for our family! We’ve already recommended the retreat to family and friends. If you’re traveling with a large group and want to take in the views of the Puget Sound, this is the place for you!"

"We (7 adults and 2 dogs) enjoyed our stay at this quiet beach house. The open concept in the main house worked best for family and the detached sleeping cabins (with electricity and heat) worked for those who needed privacy. The owner was very easy to communicate with and we appreciated all of the touches throughout the home. We would absolutely stay again and recommend to those looking for a place to hang out on the water."
