The hotel is famous for its location, especially when in the "sea view" room. It is not exactly viewing the sea, but have a large window facing Geiranger port and the fjord, the view is astonishing. We were there with rainy days and very fortunate have the sea view room, so only we missed is a sun-shining view of the fjord, but with various different pictures of scenery. The chef of the restaurant was the best among our trip of Norway, especially recommend to experience the dinner!
The room was tiny and bed was narrow and too soft in the other side; and a bit noisy because lots of tour buses from cruises passing the road underneath the window during day time; however starting from evening hours everything was quieting down.
