The Butler House is an extremely cozy inn with a great breakfast restaurant (Make reservations, it gets packed) that's perfectly located for anyone who does not want to have to drive. Check-in was very easy and convenient, although it is self check-in (no concierge desk). We will definitely be staying here again in the near-future.

Loved everything about the Butler inn. Great location, beautiful Church across the street, quiet in spite of being at a busy corner. Close to walk around the shopping and restaurant area or use the recreation path.....very safe and well traveled. Also, designated parking so no headache there. Historical library right behind as well as every type of food and bakery you would want. Want to return in the winter ❄️❄️ to experience a different season in Stowe

I loved the location right in downtown Stowe. I wasn’t expecting so many stairs. The room was funky with a loft bed that felt airless and cramped. We decided to use the pull out couch for sleeping and when we opened it there was hair all over the edges. Not cool. We had to sleep somewhere so we had to make the bed from linens in a closet. The bed was pretty comfortable for a pullout. The place was quiet despite being in the center of town. Our friends stayed in a beautiful room down the hall facing the street, spacious and airy. We got the last available room. Lacks staff with self-check in, so if you have a problem you have to call a number. No amenities to speak of. Not great value for the money. Just not the room we stayed in.

We really enjoyed our stay at Butler House. It is quaint and historic but it also offers all of the comfort and convenience needed. Check-in was simple, the place was neat and clean, and we would highly recommend Butler House.

The location downtown and the room were great, it had a small kitchette! We were in the parlor room on the first floor, complaint would be that the air conditioner could not keep up with the room. We had to have the windows open and it was raining so the room was muggy. Being on the first floor you could see into the room from the street so shades had to be down. The towels in the bathroom were amazing! I would stay again but not in the same room.

We really enjoyed being in the centre of town with the beautiful iconic church across the street and mountains in the background. It was surprisingly quiet at night. The amenities in the apartment were nice, including a full kitchen, comfortable bed, and sitting room. We would recommend this place wholeheartedly!

Very clean and cozy place to stay - we stayed in Sarah's room. The town is right outside your window and makes it easy to stroll the streets. Everything is within walking distance from the Cozy place. Owners are very kind and helpful. Great place to stay!

Would stay here again in a heartbeat

Our stay at the Butler House was fantastic. The pullout couch was so comfortable and the entire room and bathroom was spacious. I did contact the owners regarding the tub not draining great and we did lose hot water faster than we would have liked. But, we would 100% stay here again and had an amazing time. You really can't beat the location.

Lovely stay at the Butler House. We had a room on the main floor and despite being right on Main Street, it was wonderfully quiet. The room was warm and welcoming, the kitchen well stocked. It would have been cool if the fireplace worked, but not a big deal. Loved the whole vibe.
