« Ann and Colin were perfect hosts. So warm and friendly and even left a welcome basket full of thoughtful treats. Flat is so much better than the pictures portray. Spacious and equipped with everything you need for a stay in the area. Highly recommend. Very convenient for all the new forest walks. The grounds are delightful and the garden is stunning. Nice little area to sit and enjoy the sun. Although the flat is joined to the flat we felt we had privacy. Thanks again for a lovely stay....

« We were greeted by our host who had kindly allowed us to deposit our luggage ahead of moving into the cottage. « We have really enjoyed our previous two visits to the Shepherds Retreat and our third visit was equally spectacular. We arrived during a storm but the accommodation was cozy and we didn’t feel exposed to the elements. I say we were lucky, because we had a beautiful walk on the beach and a couple of excellent walks in the New Forest and the weather was perfect for all of our activities. We will be returning again soon! »
