"I had a modest room with a balcony on the second floor. After a storm, the most beautiful rainbow I've ever seen came out, and all of us drifted out from our separate rooms to stand on the balcony and enjoy it together. It was a lovely moment that I will treasure. And it only happened because the hotel is perfectly located. [Also, the staff found and shipped my toiletries to my home. Thank you!]"

"We had never stayed in such fun accommodations and were thrilled at the location as well. Our hostess was very communicative while the location might’ve been difficult it was so easy. Next time we will choose better weather ! We took 3 hour tour by boat around most of the ApostleIslands. Beautiful."

"Very comforting space"

"We came to Bayfield purposefully after the AppleFest to avoid some of the crushing crowds. We appreciated the text that notified us of an early check-in opportunity but we had some stops on the road, so didn’t get there in time to take advantage of that. The communication emails prior to the trip were very concise and nicely organized. The property is well represented in the VRBO listing. There were no surprises, and we were quite pleased wiith everything. We wanted a place that was fairly spacious yet somewhat private and close to downtown, and all of these features were provided by our stay at the Carriage House. We appreciated the off street parking and the full featured kitchen was wonderful. The space was cozy, yet spacious at the same time. We were able to relax and really enjoy our stay. My wife and I would stay there again when/if the opportunity arises."

"We (my dog and I) thoroughly enjoyed our days at Weidel Cottage. Took walks in the evening to take pictures of the sunset, found the Madeline Museum quite interesting, and enjoyed our morning coffee taking in the view of Lake Superior,"

"The only negative I have about the stay was the cloudy skies, but we can’t control that. Apolo the dog was very sociable and friendly. All in all, I highly recommend this if B&B’s are what you are looking for."
