"Exactly what I what I was looking for, the "R & R" posted above the fireplace lived up to its meaning! Had a great getaway in this awesome, cozy cabin with stunning mountain views and a warm and welcoming community in beautiful Chama, NM, highly recommend!"
"Great stay if you’re looking to get away and off the grid a bit. The cabin was clean and very comfortable. Lots of entertainment downstairs for the kids and dogs. Chama has a couple of great little places to eat and explore. Quick drive to Pagosa Springs. 100% recommend!"
Tranquil 7-bedroom cabin in Los Ojos with WiFi access
10/10 Excellent
"This was my 2nd time staying here which should tell you everything you need to know. My first visit I was the guest of someone who booked the cabin for an elk hunt on the rez. While it is a 45 minute drive from the meeting area where our guides want to meet at each morning, having all the friends in one cabin enhances the comradery and makes the trip so much more enjoyable. The kitchen is huge with plenty of prep space for a bunch of guys to make a mess while figuring out how our wives make such great meals at home. Eventually, we all end up outside on one of the many grills. I mean many grills...there are enough grills on the fantastic covered porch to seriously impress any man worthy of burning meat after a day of burning their lungs at this altitude trying to keep up with their guides! As an added bonus there is a fridge on the porch as well for that frosty toast to tagging out. The rooms are perfect and there are plenty of bathrooms and hot water. I have now slept in two different beds and neither one was worn-out which always bugs me about hotels. I didn't hear a single gripe from any of the complainers in my group and that says a lot about the standard the host set (and my group standards...haha)!Seriously, the porch deserves its own statement. A man can sit on this porch burning meat, drinking fine bourbon, and maybe smoking a cigar all day while watching the world go by and not see or hear another human. This alone is worth the mental reset."
"The home is wonderfully cozy and so much fun for families. We loved sitting in front of the gas fireplace each evening, playing badminton, and the kids paddled around in the boats left by the dock. We stayed the week of Thanksgiving, and the kitchen was stocked with everything we could possibly need for a Thanksgiving meal. There is a large closet upstairs that is fully stocked with games and toys for younger kids- truly something for every age range. This house feels like going home. The host was very kind and accommodating. She made everything so easy and comfortable. Would highly recommend this property! "

"Location, very quite but not far from Chama and the train. About 10 to 15 min. Would have enjoyed the decks if we'd have visitors in warmer weather, little to cool in the mornings to set out. "
