"Would definitely not rate this above a 2 star hotel. Room was dark and dingy, paint chipped and tons of marks on the walls. Went to breakfast and decided to skip it when we saw what it was. The location is fantastic. If you are looking for a room that could sleep 4, this is a good choice. I didn’t like that keys were just left in a bowl on the front desk, clearly marked with you room number on it and no attendant at the desk… not sure what stops anyone from taking a different key and entering your room. If I was a woman traveling alone I would have been extremely uncomfortable."

"It is great hotel in magnificent location. I keep returning to this hotel, this was my 4th time. I love the breakfast room! But I see the rooms, bathrooms, walls, windows keep deteriorating, not being updated. I think this hotel needs updates if it wants to keep the status and us coming back."

"Right across the street from main train station. Public transportation within 1 block. 10 minute walk to Duomo area. Good rooms, fine breakfast, helpful staff. Small grocery store around the corner. We’ve stayed here twice and will stay again if we return to Firenze."
