Privacy in the pines

This cozy condo features 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, a full kitchen, living room with sofa sleeper, gas fireplace and a balcony. Located just steps away from the Thunderhead Express Lift and hundreds of miles of single track biking, hiking trails and skiing. Minutes to the base of the ski area, local grocery stores, downtown shopping and many restaurants. After a long day of skiing enjoy the unique indoor entrance to the heated outdoor pool, hot tub and sauna (closed during the offseason). There are 2 public grills, an outdoor patio and a community room at the pool. Access to the ski locker located one floor below the condo.

We had a nice stay. Very clean unit. Short walk to the Thunderhead lift which saves a lot of time over driving, parking, and shuttling to the slopes. Made use of the pool and hot tub. Very nice.

Quiet peaceful clean condo

The condo was quiet, clean, comfortable. It was a little toasty with No AC but there were a couple oscillating fans that helped alot. The pool was a good temperature and pretty clean for being in the Pines and at the base of the mountain.

1st time to stay in The Boat

The Boat is a pretty big mountain town. Jim’s place makes it feel like it’s not so big bc it truly is tucked away in the mountainside. On our last morning there we got to see two young black bear cubs stroll right by our balcony window playing w each other and oblivious to us watching them. The amenities of the pool and hot tub were a nice touch for our summer stay here especially for the kids. The condo has everything you need. Jim was very communicative and worked through some questions we had. We would def stay here again.

Good spot for weekend trip with friends

Stayed two nights with some friends and it slept four comfortably. It's a nice spot within walking distance of the Thunderhead Lift. The only callout is the walls are paper-thin, so be extra cautious about noise.

Perfect Location

I loved this Vrbo. This is the perfect location for skiers. Walking distance to Thunderhead so you can skip the base chaos and lines. I also loved the quiet and smaller building, it's in the trees so feels more secluded than being at the base area. Just all around a great stay!

Always great!

The unit is very comfortable and has everything you need for a fantastic stay! It is clean and cozy. The Scandi location can’t be beat! Easy walk to Thumderhead lift. We always come back to the condo for lunch, since it’s so convenient! Lovely to soak in the hot tub after a great day of skiing!

The listing is a little miss leading. The pool was filthy, the laundry was shared, the location was 15 minutes away from town. Listing was very inaccurate. It was a nice place to stay after camping for 10 days.

Perfect place for our ski getaway!

Jim's condo had was perfect and was equipped perfectly for everything we needed for our 5 day stay! Access to the resort / gondola was within a short walk. Jacuzzi and heated pool to boot! Will definitely stay again next time we're in Steamboat!

Beautiful area, short walk to the chairlift. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub after a long day skiing. Appreciated the indoor ski locker. Would recommend and look forward to future visits.

First visit to Steamboat

Beautiful apartment in a great location with just a short walk to the ski lift. If there was a downside, you need a vehicle to get to town for meals, shopping etc. Very clean and warm.
