We were in town for the Drake concert and the Hampton Inn is right around the corner from The Bryce Jordan Center. It’s walkable (uphill) but parking was reasonable and plentiful sooooo…
The hotel was clean, check in was easy and it’s not far from places to eat. We drove about 8 minutes to Texas Roadhouse which is near a lot of other restaurants.
It looked like a convenient place to stay if you have to take your kid to college or there for graduation or a football game.

Thank you for the review and feedback Caprice, very much appreciated!
The bathroom could use a good scrub. It smelled of urine on day one of checking in.

Thank you for the review and feedback, I apologize for the cleanliness issue of the bathroom and will address with the housekeeping department immediately.
This hotel is nice, offers breakfast and is very clean. Our room felt small, maybe we are used to more suites or different style but the entry was right and had 2 queen beds which were fine.
Checked in and went to our room. Hubby jumped in the shower. I noticed a dog barking in the next room. Called and asked to be moved. Apologized that we had already used the bathroom. Deck person immediately brought us keys to a new room and we moved within minutes.
Clean, updated, quiet rooms, well-maintained property. Large selection for a continental breakfast. Pool was refreshing and also well-maintained. Property is super-close to Penn State's stadium, ball park and other sports facilities.
