Newly renovated Beautiful 3 bedroom cottage tucked away on a quiet dead end road on a large lot backed by trees for privacy. We are walking distance to sandy beaches, golf, deep sea fishing, walking & biking trails. Short drive for fine dining at Dalvay by the Sea or great seafood at Richards at the wharf. Enjoy the southern exposure on the front deck or dine and relax on the large screened in deck on the back. You can also enjoy reading a book or your morning coffee on the patio deck off the master bedroom. Air Condition/heat pump located on main level. We are minutes from some of the beautiful beaches in PEI. You can enjoy a meal at well known Stanhope Golf course after a round on this beautiful course. Take a 15 minute drive to the City where you can enjoy live theatre at the Confederation Centre, entertainment, horse racing, Casino, bars and many restaurants with live music. Take in a movie at the drive-in which is close by. Our cottage will give you the experience of a PEI retreat for a great family vacation! (License #2202406)

We had a great time here at the Stanhope cottage. Kathy and Bruce were very responsive and super friendly. The location is fantastic and the cottage was just so beautiful. We spent every night, breakfast and dinners in the screened in porch, it was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. The location is great, it’s really close to Charlottetown, and Cavindish but it’s right near the North shore and out of the way of any traffic. One of our top highlights was our evening walk to the beach. The beach is a short walk away and the sunset was gorgeous. Thank you Kathy and Bruce, we will be back!

Very clean and with everything you need, this quiet cottage is the perfect place for a quiet vacation. A short walk through a path will bring you to one of the many beaches of PEI.

Everything you could want!

The house was impeccably clean and everything we could possibly need was provided - all we needed to bring were food/drink, clothing and personal items. Towels for bath and beach, kitchen supplies, consumables such as dish soap, laundry soap, paper towels, even tea and coffee - everything was there! The cottage is a short walk to a beautiful and quiet beach, and a reasonably short drive (under 30 minutes) from Charlottetown, tourist attractions such as Green Gables, and many excellent places to eat. We aren’t golfers, but a beautiful golf course is a short walk away as well. The area of Stanhope and Brackley Bay is absolutely gorgeous and is right at the entrance to the beautiful national park. The only thing not quite as I pictured was that, while the house was indeed on a quiet, wooded, cul-de-sac, there were several other cottages/houses around and it was more like a quiet neighborhood than a cottage in the woods.

Week of summer relaxation

Spent lots of time at the beautiful nearby beaches, took a hike on the Bubbling Springs trail, shopped at the Dunes & ate out at Dalvay-by-the-Sea & the Dunes. Very peaceful & relaxing vacation.

Excellent weekend at Kathy and Bruce’s cottage. The cottage was immaculate and extremely well stocked. The cottage is spacious and we absolutely loved the screen room. Fabulous beach just a short walk away. Can’t wait to book again.

Great place and location

We had such a great time. Kathy and Bruce were wonderful hosts and super responsive. The place was spotless, kitchen was well equipped, washer and drier are new and helpful for beach towels. We had some rainy days and the house is big enough for games and naps as the bedrooms are all good size and located upstairs. The screened in porch and bbq were excellent for family dinners. This location is superb, a 10-minute walk to beach and there is great biking and walking right outside the front door.

We had an amazing stay at this cottage! It was incredibly spacious and very well equipped! It was just a short walk to a lovely beach that was nice and quiet. We were there during a heatwave so the upstairs rooms were a tiny bit warm but thankfully the fans and breeze from windows helped a fair bit. We would definitely return in future!

The Perfect Vacation Spot!

Our family absolutely loved this cottage! It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved eating our meals out on the screen porch. Kathy and Bruce were great hosts and very responsive to text. They had great suggestions for local activities and restaurants, as well as shopping. The cottage was spotless! We are already talking about returning for another stay!

Great Stay!

I booked this property for a 4 night stay with my mom and myself to visit PEI. The hosts were amazing and available to answer questions and make suggestions.
