The view of the ocean was stunning. We did not partake in breakfast so I cannot comment. The staff was pleasant but not prominent. We felt like it was more of an air bnb as opposed to a hotel. Very quiet after nightfall. Had good sleeps. Walk into town was about 7 minutes along the ocean walkway. Beautiful. Our main complaint was no labels on the wonderful lighting switches. You have spent a lot of money on beautiful lighting, it would be nice to let the guests know what turns what on! Thanks for the lovely stay. They helped with getting us a car rental and made some excellent suggestions for dinner in the area. The breakfasts were delicious and fresh, the room was spotless with daily housekeeping. We would recommend this place to anyone wishing to visit the Hermanus area. The mountain views from our terrace were spectacular as well. Be sure to book several nights, because you won’t want to leave. We arrived as guests and left as friends." Adrian was so friendly and could not have been more helpful The hotel itself was perfect for us, small, quiet and we just loved the relaxed atmosphere. They had a small bar area in the reception which works on an honesty basis. Just help yourself and make a note (Not very often you find that these days) Breakfast was just lovely and everything was so fresh and cooked to order. We liked the walk along the sea to all the restaurants and the taxi home only cost £2.00 We would definitely recommend and if we are ever in the area again, will come again and enjoy their warm hospitality.
