This was our first time at Lydia Mountain and we enjoyed it tremendously! The room was clean and the decorations were very well thought out and quite interesting. We took our time enjoying every single instrument, framed art, and records. The Music of the Mountains theme really came to life. The view from the balcony was very nice. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and had a nice shower. There was also lots of storage space in the closet. The grounds are vast, creating a quiet, enchanting atmosphere. We were reserved for a 2nd floor room but requested a change to 1st floor after we arrived. The office was closed but there was an after hours number we could call. They switched our room without any problem and the staff (Tina, I think?) was so pleasant and accommodating. Our room was SPOTLESS and so well decorated, we felt like we hit the jackpot. Check in and check out was electronic, so very easy, not time consuming at all. We loved our stay so much, we're worried no other place on our trip will quite measure up.
