The little kitchen was perfect for everything we needed! We really enjoyed the Sapphire beach area! This is a great condo also has a great view of St. John in other islands. The unit was clean and access was straightforward. We had written asking about timing, but ended up having to communicate off-platform, which was a first red flag. Kitchen was functional but awkward - an outlet without a cover was right over the sink, but the only place to plug in for coffee/toaster. (Patio outlets were not functional and had broken covers, also). Patio furniture was rusted (bench was broken and we are glad we saw that prior to sitting.) Internet was out when we arrived, to find out from the host that the modem belonged to a neighbor, so they needed to be contacted to reset. We had frequent outages after that, which resolved themselves over time. The USVI has frequent power outages - something we are used to - but there were no flashlights or battery light sources, and no alternative power for the unit. We were advised “There “should” be a flashlight under the TV. But they disappear all the time. Nice restaurant a few yards away with a pool. Sapphire beach in walking distance where there was a nice beach bar so easy to stay all day. Seamless check in/check out process. Only issue was the ceiling fan was going on and off on its on, including the light. It seem to have a short in it. The bed seem to have bed bugs and need to be checked for this. It was decorated really nicely to make it feel clean and comfortable. The view from the balcony was great! Being able to walk to the beach and some restaurants was a real blessing. We spent most days in walking distance. When we did want to go a bit further taxis were easy to find and navigate. Emily was a great host and very responsive to any needs or questions that we had.
