Greenside motel

"The location was good, the price reasonable. The weather was lovely, so a lot of people were enjoying their patio areas when I arrived. But everyone quieted down at a more than reasonable hour, and I didn’t hear a peep once they were in their rooms."

"This is a house that was built in the 1800s if you don't like old places this hotel is not for you. I had booked an economy room on the second floor and was pleasently surprised by the look of the room. The usual ameneties: fridge, coffee machine, hair dryer, ac, comfortable bed, free parking etc. Other than some pealing paint in the bathroom the room was perfect. I did enjoy my stay and would gladly return."

"I felt like I arrived in the house of an old relative. It was chock-a- block full of an amazing assortment of knickknacks which filled almost every corner. In fact, there was almost no space to put any of my things in my room. My hosts were two engaging gentlemen who were happy to visit with me while I had breakfast. The breakfast was extensive and was far more than I was able to eat. You should know that there was no TV, although the Internet was fine, and my host brought a carafe of cold water for me to have. I was a little put off by the fact that the soap in the dish by the sink had been used several times before, and the remote for the room heat pump was not clean. I also noticed that there was a very strong smell of wet dog when I first arrived. I didn’t notice it after a while, and I didn’t notice it again when I returned after being away all day. There are three adorable French bulldogs in residence, and they greeted me enthusiastically whenever I appeared. As I said earlier, it felt more like staying with a relative than booking a hotel room."

"We stayed one night as we were traveling back to the states from Nova Scotia. This remodeled motel was quaint, clean, well equipped rooms with comfy beds. A great spot for an overnight stay."

"The house was just as described. It was like stepping into a family member’s house. Comfy and not overly devoid of character. The kitchen had everything we needed. We did struggle a bit with the lock at first, but the hosts were incredibly accessible and communicative. It’s in the perfect location to be able to walk to the main drag without being in the middle of the hubbub."
