That all changes when you get to the beach access. That picture is either incredibly outdated or the access changed in a very short time. There is no access to the beach without walking through murky tide pool water, which leads you to a floating pontoon bridge that has a 12” step, so must be able to lift your beach cart and be able to step that high. We saw several seniors struggle and helped a few. Because of Milton coming, they had to remove the bridge, but then they didn’t put it back after the storm went threw, which ended up not being much of a storm for the island (thank goodness) so we had no beach access the rest of the vacation. The layout was perfect for needs of blending two family vacations. Rental company was SUPER easy to work with. Our only complaints were that the condo above was being remodeled so it got a little noisy at times. (of course out on the beach you were oblivious). The only other complaint was the access to the beach was affected by the rain causing you to either wade through waste deep water or walk down the beach a ways to get out to the actual beach/ocean.
