The house itself is nice. That's all I can say. I rented this place because two friends of mine were flying in from two different states and we were going on an offshore fishing trip. This place a a good location, not far from where we were going out. I read the reviews and noticed that a lot of reviews has issues with the ac not working g correctly. I contacted the owner via vrbo, I was assured the issues were fixed, was told the system had been replaced. My buddy arrived first and immediately messaged me and told me it was hot in the house. I arrived about an hour and a half later, the house was hot and the temp kept raising. I notified the owner, they said they would get someone out there. Time went by no one came and no one contacted me with an update. I messaged the owner again, they told me no one was available till the next day. I told them that was unacceptable, that we can not sleep in such a hot place. Nothing was done. We ended up leaving and got a room at Tru by Hilton. I told the owner I expected to be refunded for that night, not once did they reply about giving a refund! We went on out 12 hour fishing trip the next day, I expected to have a text from the owners when I returned (there is no service out as far offshore as we were, so I assumed the message would load when we got back closer to shore), they never once messaged me about the air being fixed. Again I messaged them, they finally answered and said the issue was taken care of. When we arrived at the property the 2nd day it was 80 degrees in the house and climbing. I again messaged the, they never answered, then the electric went out, I messaged again, again no answer. Finally I messaged them again that I expect a full refund for the entire stay, imagine that, no answer! The 2nd day we did shower, I left the towels by the kitchen counter, due to the power being out I could not wash them, the first night my buddy made dinner, all the stuff was washed and put away. I would tell anyone looking at this place to steer clear of it. The host is horrible and they lie about issues with the property. The host can try to reply and contradict what I have written, but I have photo proff.
