"I found it odd that there was no elevator (at least none that I could see) to access the second floor. Had to carry my large suitcase up the steps. Breakfast was good. Breakfast staff was helpful. The woman who checked us in had numerous piercings on her face (nose) and was intimidating but was very professional and helpful otherwise. "

"What a great historic, charming cottage! We were able to spread out as a family of 4, enjoy common areas together and truly be comfortable. We were attending a wedding at the Waucoma Event Center, and enjoyed the close proximity. A great touch was the amount of coffee pods and having paper to go cups. As a coffee drinker who almost always has a to go cup, it was nice to not have to bring one, or buy one. We loved thiss VRBO and if we find our way back to NE Iowa, we would happily stay again."

"Great little place for a weekend in Decorah. The home is so spacious and conveniently located near everything downtown to be able to walk. The hosts were very responsive and answered all of our questions. The kitchen had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this rental. "
