Lots of thoughtful touches in decor. The firepit in the backyard was nice in December. The house was spotless and the mattress was comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again

My family and I....of 4...stayed at the Blue Haven for 5 days, in March of 2021. When we arrived, we were honestly blown away. This lovely new home was very, very clean with all of the modern amenities.
Furniture and beds were very comfortable. Had everything in the kitchen that one would need to cook just about any meal...which we did a few times, as well as a grill outside.
I honestly don't have anything negative to say about the house at all. Management was VERY helpful and pleasant to deal with. Check-in was a breeze.
The only thing I would say about it, is the location. HOWEVER, it's not a negative about the home itself, or honestly, the location technically. Small pockets of the area are old with old homes, some in run-down condition. But....once you recognize that the area is really, just going through a sort of revival and almost gentrification or sorts....you understand. Much of St. Augustine is in this process, all over.
I mention it only so prospective renters realize that, it's nothing technically bad or makes the area a bad neighborhood. It's only in process of getting better and being updated.
Also.....this summer, there is a pool being put in, in the back yard....which was very spacious. Very good decision/addition.
All in all...we had a wonderful time and want to DEFINITELY go back again....especially with the pool!!!!!
Thanks again to the owners and management for having such a great home in St. Augustine to rent, that is so close to everything.

The house was great - simple and clean, perfect for what we needed. We didn't plan to spend a lot of time at home. The neighborhood felt safe, and it was easy to get to the beach and the historic district. There was never any traffic and it was quiet at night.

We agonized over where to stay with our 2 toddlers (2&4). My husband didn’t want a beach condo bc he wanted to be separate from people during the pandemic, but we wanted to be centrally located. This is just a few minute drive to downtown St. Augustine and another jump to Anastasia island. Supermarket was v close as well.
The house itself is completely new, spotless, decorated well and very comfortable. All Beds were great, there’s a TV in every bedroom, and kitchen is fully stocked. There weren’t a bunch of nick nacks for the kids to get their hands on which was so nice, there was also a yard for them to run around which we enjoyed. I really felt like we were in a giant hotel room.
The yard was a little wild- not exactly tailored, but it ended up being one of our favorite things about the house. Open the back French doors in the morning and it’s very peaceful and natural- it was my happy time. I do think there are plans by the owner to install a pool in the coming months which will be fabulous.
The neighborhood was my biggest concern before we arrived as I had checked it out online and was unsure about it. The area is a little pockety- meaning if you go a few blocks in any direction it gets a little run down which I learned later is kinda just how st Augustine is. I’m super funny about this sort of thing bc I’m a paranoid parent these days. Thankfully the area was just totally fine. It was quiet and pleasant with no issues at all.
I will definitely stay here again.
