"We enjoyed our stay at the lodge. The food and restaurants services were very good. It should be noted that you stay in units that are up on a hill and there is no elevator to get to the second or third floor. You also have to park down the hill from the lodge and get your luggage up two sets of stairs before you get to the units. They do offer a service to help you. You are at 7000 feet so it’s very strenuous. There is a ramp and luggage carts where you can try to do it by yourself. The location is excellent. You are close to all the very popular hikes and historical trees. The cabin rooms are very basic. There is heat but no air conditioning. The WIFI service is ok."

"The rooms are very cute and clean, Our waiter's name was Gus, he was such a delight, he was just amazing. Great guy! If you are staying here to go to the Sequoia trees this hotel is the closest to the park entrance but you will be going through quite a bit of curves and mountains hills before you get the the entrance of the Sequoia trees."
