Sports Force Parks at Cedar Point Sports Center Tours and Activities

From the moment I walked through the nonfunctional automatic doors that were propped open and noticed there was no air conditioning in the lobby, along with the wafting smoke smell, along with other plants that are smoked recreationally, I knew I had made a mistake reserving rooms at this hotel. Once we checked in, and headed to the two rooms, the first thing I noticed when I walked in the first room was the shower curtain lying on the bathroom sink. That and the white unknown powder all over the floor and bathtub. Then I noticed both queen beds had torn, stained and discolored bedding. The smoke alarm for the room was missing, and 3 of the 4 walls had cracks and plaster/paint missing from them. I will not even mention the things I found in the drawers, disgusting. The second room was only slightly better, as it had a smoke alarm and a hung shower curtain, but those are the only differences. I immediately went to the desk and asked for different rooms, as these were unacceptable. The manager did not even act surprised and started looking for two other rooms for us. They sent us to another floor and though the rooms were at least "better" the smoke, the smells, the worn carpet, drawers again filled with items you do not want your kids to see, ever. forced me to find different accommodations. I just turned in my keys as the manager did not offer to make things any better, nor did they offer a refund. You should remove this hotel from your list of places to stay, just horrible.

Rarely saw staff at desk. Breakfast was adequate. No coffeemaker in room. We passed on housekeeping first day, but they didn't come second despite no knob sign. Pool was warm and large, good kids play area. Convenient location.
