Great for the price
The hotel was wonderful, basically on the beach. The staff were very friendly, even with limited English and the breakfast was good but limited. Air conditioning was amazing and so was the fridge in room- it fit a lot of water and drink inside. Only downsides were the size of the room, very tiny, hardly anywhere to put our cases and the WiFi, not very strong. But it’s a good 3 star hotel, great location with easy transport links and very clean and friendly staff

I wasnt happy,because they acommodated us on other building,not the on the main Hotel Villa bb that they showed on Hotels.com.That calls cheating.Main hotel building looks much better,but they gave us one on other building at the back of hotel with no view and it smelled bad.

Great hotel on the beach
Really nice hotel, especially for the relatively low cost. The beach restaurant was really convenient and had a great range of options, good breakfast included, comfortable room with balcony and all the usual facilities. The hotel was also right opposite a bus stop for services Split, so very well placed to travel around. No complaints at all.

No "private beach"
The hotel itself was perfectly adequate for the two of us. It looked like it was recently redone even. I, however, was not a fan of the so called private beach. The beach was not private and there were tons of people coming to it that were not staying at the hotel. Private beach to me also implies that you shouldn't have to pay for a chair which costs you a little more than $5/chair. Luckily, they had a pool that was private you could lay by. The desk service was another issue, since they were never there, and when you could find them to ask a question, they were very unhelpful but that was our experience around the whole region

Nice family beach hotel with pool
The hotel was perfect for a family for a four day beach vacation. The hotel has a small pool, I didn't see very many other places in the area with a pool. We spent our time between the beach and the pool. There are several nice restaurants within walking distance on the beach and we liked the attached restaurant, Crazy Brothers. It is not a great location if you want to take a boat out to the islands. You either have to go into Split or take a pretty expensive charter from Le Meridian Lav marina. If we stayed longer, we might have gotten tired of the local restaurant options but for a short stay it was perfect for us. The sunsets are beautiful with the lights from Split twinkling in the background.

Good Hotel on the Podstrana Beach
Hotel Villa BB was a nice, clean, modern hotel on the beach just south of Split. The hotel location is about 10-15 minutes from the ferryport or 30 minutes from the airport. Very clean nicely decorated room with a modern bathroom (though water pressure was a bit weak on the 3rd floor). Hotel outdoor pool area was very nice (had great live music the 1 night we were there) and the Cafe between the hotel and the beach was great for a beer and a bite to eat. The beach itself wasn't anything special (considering what's available on some of the islands right off the coast!) but it was good for our transfer day between the islands and flying home.

The hotel is located in a very nice location and about 30 minutes by public bus to the city of Split. It just cost about 1.5 euro per trip.The hotel facilities are good as the price charged. The staffs are friendly and helpful. However, I would like to recommend to add some varieties of buffet breakfast. The food are same everyday. As I have stayed 5 days, I would like to see slight changes in term of the food. And there is no lift for those who have climbing the staircase problem. Other than that, this hotel is a very good value for money.

Hotel Villa BB in Postdrana Croatia - a nice place
We enjoyed the place which is close to the sea. Nice people, nice rooms without a small refrigerator (which is not so good). Close to Split and comfortable as a place to be there and tour to many places around.

Dining at the sea
We ( a family of three) were lucky to be offered the whole apartment for our stay that was booked with deep discount on Expedia. So we had two level unit with full kitchen, two baths, complementary WiFi to ourselves. The restaurant is behind the property and right at the shore, so when you dine at the candle lit table, you listen to the tide and can enjoy the sunset at the same time.

The hotels location is a little far from the center; therefore you should hire a car, if you wait bus # 60 like us, you could melt under the sun in summer. However the hotel is right across the sea, the restaurant bar area is delightful, even there was a great live music on one night of our stay. The rooms are clean and decent. It might be a bit hard to communicate if you are speaking English.

This hotel was very nice for what we paid. It was more like self catering room. New painted. I would have liked a bed side light if I had to mention an improvement. Nice terrace with view of the sea. Garden was being redone so we did not get the full benefit. Good self service breakfast. Parking if you can do the steep drive down to it! Close to Split.

Good location, but that´s about it.
Location is great, near the beach which is nice and has nice restaurants. Breakfast ok but crowded. Although, the standard apartment we booked had a lot more to wish for. First of all - it had view over a parking lot. No pictures showing that on the website. The cleaning was under all expectations. Mold stains in the shower and dead bugs on the walls. Asked for an extra pillow - couldn´t be done. Refrigerator didn´t work. Opening hours for the pool was until 22, but some nights it closed much earlier without any explanation. Most of the staff wasn´t friendly or helpful. We really liked Podstrana as a village, but wouldn´t stay at this hotel again.

Situación buena cerca de Split el aparcamiento es pequeño pero no suele haber problemas!! Personal amable. El desayuno algo repetitivo pero esta bastante bien!! Lo peor para nosotros la limpieza, el baño no lo limpiaron hasta el 3 dia solo cambiaban las toallas, las sabanas no las cambiaron ni un solo dia de 10 dias que nos alojamos! Limpieza pobre en general! El resto bastante bien!

Was put in annex to the hotel, not in the hotel, annex far away from meeting expectations, dark, with humidity leaks and needs an exterminator, full body itches after being there; positive things are reception service and staff ( all but not from restaurant, as being in the pool they move as flies unhappy, killing the mood), location very good, parking is problematic but staff is really helpful with it. The restaurant food is good, but as told service kills mood so we ate anywhere else. Beach is crowded and not sandy, but view is breathtaking at sunrise/sunset. DO NOT RECOMMEND IT FOR FAMILIES, I will however recommend it for couples just in the rooms with seaviews. Another positive was breakfast, as I read bad opinions so I was pleasantly surprise by it.

Die Fotos vermitteln einen falschen Eindruck: - Vor dem Appartement ist der Parkplatz. - Der Pool ist eine kleine Wanne. - Das Appartement war nicht gereinigt! - Nach der vermeintlichen Reinigung waren immer noch Haare der Vormieter usw. im Bad! - Es stank wie in einem Keller! - Appartement ist alt und Schäden sind nicht repariert. - WLAN funktioniert im Appartement nicht. - Frühstücksraum viel zu klein und relaltiv kleine Auswahl.

Sole mare e cortesia
L'idea all'origine del soggiorno a Villa bb era quella di concedere a mia moglie ed al sottoscritto due giorni di completo riposo prima di avventurarci nell'impegnativa scoperta di Mostar e Sarajevo. La presenza di una piscina nel complesso della struttura e la vicinanza del mare hanno condizionato la nostra scelta. Le aspettative sono state abbondantemente superate. L'accoglienza è stata davvero molto cortese. L'impiegata alla reception (Diviana), che ha soggiornato in Italia, ha dimostrato tutto il suo piacere nell'esprimersi nella nostra lingua creando un'atmosfera singolarmente familiare. La struttura è nuova e molto raffinata. La piscina, malgrado le dimensioni non certo olimpioniche, offre un piacevole refrigerio. Ciliegina sulla torta il ristorante sulla spiaggia di sassolini bianchi, con la sua offerta di piatti dalmati di sapore pieno. Giudizio davvero ottimo.

Fredlige plass.
Ei rolig og avslappa uke med familien. Lokasjon av hotell var perfekt med nærhet til sjøen, og ingen stress med å få solseng. I området rundt var det eit bakeri, ein dagligvarebutikk, ein marina og eit hotell med resturant. Enkelt å ta buss til Split for ein bytur. Vi hadde rom med trerasse, men manglet safe til pass og kjøleskap.

Hyvätasoinen pienhotelli loistavalla sijainnilla
Olimme matkalla kaveripariskunnan kanssa. Majoituimme Hotel Villa BB:ssä kuusi yötä. Hotelli ja huoneet olivat siistejä ja melko moderneja. Henkilökunnan palvelu oli hyvää ja ystävällistä. Allasalue oli hotellin kokoon nähden riittävä ja aamupala riittävän monipuolinen. Hotellin "oma" ravintola todella hyvä perusravintola! Hotellin sijainti oli myös mainio. Aivan rannan tuntumassa niin, että altaaltakin pystyi helposti käymään meressä uimassa. Lisäksi bussipysäkki, josta meni bussi Splitin keskustaan 30 minuutin välein, oli aivan hotellin vieressä. Myös kauppa ja pankkiautomaatti löytyivät aivan hotellin lähistöltä. Ainoita miinuksia olivat huoneen oven huono äänieristys käytävään (korvatulppien kanssa nukkuessa ei kuitenkaan ollut mitään ongelmaa, eikä muista huoneista kuulunut häiritsevästi ääniä), vaihteleva huonevarustelu (ystäviemme huoneessa oli viinilasit, mutta meillä vain tavalliset) ja surkeahko Wi-Fi. Siivooja unohti myös kerran toimittaa puhtaat pyyhkeet, kun vei likaiset mennessään, mutta saimme vastaanotosta uudet, kun niitä pyysimme.

Suositeltava 3* paikka rannan vieressä!
Työntekijät olivat mukavia ja hotelli oli loistavalla paikalla. Hotelli on mäen alapuolella joten viereinen autotie ei häirinnyt. Bussipysäkki heti mäen päällä mahdollisti helpot retket Splittiin. Uimaranta on hotellin ravintolan takana, joten altaalla on oma rauha ja mereen pääsee silti helposti. Kauppoihin (vettä varten) lyhyt matka. Aamupala menettelee, mutta ravintolan muut ruoat olivat loistavia! Huoneet olivat siistejä ja maulla sisustettuja, mutta äänieristystä käytäville ei juuri ole. Hotellin yleinen ilmapiiri olisi 4 tähteä, mutta laadunvaihtelu huoneiden sisällä ja välillä pudottaa kolmeen. Viinilasit ja kahvimukit olivat eri kokoisia ja mallisia, kaikkialla ei ole päiväpeittoja jne. Näillä ei sinänsä ole merkitystä, mutta mielestäni tämän vuoksi oikeutetusti 3 tähden paikka. Suosittelen ehdottomasti! Ps. Uimakengät ovat välttämättömät!

Rauhallinen tukikohta Splitin matkalle
Majoitus valittiin uima-altaan johdosta, allas osoittautui melkoisen pieneksi, mutta toisaalta tytär opetteli tuossa polskimaan. Uimarengas ym apuvälinen pitää olla, allas on noin 180 cm syvä. Hotelli on ihan rannalla joten mereen pääsee myös pulahtamaan. Ranta on melko karkean kiven peitossa (kivet ovat kyllä sileitä) vesi on kirkasta. Splitiin pääsee helposti bussilla (pysäkki ihan hotellin kohdalla). Jos haluaa ostoskeskuksiin niin hieman joutuu kikkailemaan/kävelemään ja takaisin kannattaakin tulla taksilla = ) Ruokapaikkoja on rannalla riittävästi, hinnoittelu ehkä pikkuisen yläkanttiin tosin. Kävelymatkan päässä on pari kauppaa sekä leipomo.

Erinomainen sijainti ja hyvää ruokaa ravintolassa.
Huoneiden/hotellin siisteys ok mutta vessan viemäristä oli epämielyttävä haju. Kun tästä huomautettiin asia korjattiin. Palvelutaso ok, aamiainen hyvä ja ruoka ravintolassa erinomainen. Hotellin sijainti on erinomainen, lähellä rantaa ja bussipysäkki lähellä hotellia. Pääsee helposti bussilla Splittiin.

Blizina plaže, dobri ljudi,odličan restoran, čisti bazen, ljubaznost na recepciji -pohvala. Mala zamjerka je smrad u sobi od kanalizacije i frižider je dosta bučan. Odlazak u Split ujutro i navečer je zbog prometa dugotrajan.

Om man vill ha något lugnt
6 dagar varav 4 var regniga och kasst väder. Rummet var bra men wifiet var inte det bästa. Trångt badrum men det fungerade bra ändå. Restaurangen nedanför erbjöd oss glas till vin på rummet och de serverade otroligt god mat.

La situation de l'hôtel est excellente avec sa plage et son restaurant au bord de l'eau . La dame de l'accueil nous a rendu un immense service en acceptant de s'occuper du dépannage de notre voiture . Nos vacances ont été sauvées grâce à elle !!
