Good communication. Would definitely stay here again. This is not a traditional hotel but more of several apartments. Check in was smooth, we texted to drop off our bags at 1000 AM then they texted us around lunch the code to get in. Just give them a heads up if you want to drop off bags because there is no front desk so someone has to meet you and let you in. The only minor issues was the doors to the apartment were stiff and you kind of had to slam them shut. Not a big deal and should be an easy fix for them to resolve it just needs to be done. We booked two rooms for three nights. Communications from host was excellent, they went above and beyond to help us settle in and were super flexible. Very convenient to old town, just a few minutes walk. You can’t get better than that. It has a great view of the sea port. Toma greeted us when we arrived. He was very friendly and helpful. We didn’t mind to walk the steps to the 4th floor. This place was beautifully renovated. The windows are tight and kept out the night-life noise. Air conditioner was clutch. The balcony view is AMAZING. The building is quite old, but with modern amenities. My problem is with the listing, which neglects to mention that it is a 3!!!-floor walk up, and that if you don’t tell them when you’re arriving, you cannot get in. I luckily met one of the two other guests who called the manager for me. The room itself was nice, with the exception that, to us, it smelled a bit like cigarette smoke. The Seaview staff member, Karlo, said that isn't possible and suggested it was the smell of the flooring, but that did not make sense to us. If you aren't very sensitive to cigarette smoke then it might not bother you. The location close to the old town is very convenient and the view of the marina is great. The biggest downside is getting into the suite from the street. There is a common entrance from the street into a kind of common indoor access area for many different units in several buildings. This area had garbage in it and definitely had a smell. From here there was about 8-10 steps up to another locked door to give access to the building. Once in that door, there was a full 3 and 1/2 flights of narrow stairs up to the third locked door that gave access to a vestibule for the 3 Seaview Luxury Retreat suites. Summary: the room is nice, BUT you have to pass through a smelly area with garbage and at least 4 flights of stairs to get to the suites. If you have more than a small amount of luggage, or are not in shape, it is a difficult location to access. For my wife and I, we looked past the smell and we're in decent shape so we looked at the stairs as a bit of daily exercise, but we think it is important that anyone renting one of these units knows what they are getting into before renting. ##### Glen ### 10/10 Excellent #### Marlis Aug 26, 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities Toller Blick auf den schönsten Teil Splits.
