  • One bedroom studio apartment perfect for a couple or family with young kids. King size firm pillow top bed and full size futon, suitable for children. Fully equipped kitchen and large bathroom. Covered porch facing the beach which is just a few steps away plus a deck with lounge chairs. Unbeatable beachfront location and views. Kayaks and paddle boards included.
    Spanish Wells is an historic lobster fishing community with a beautiful beach, several good restaurants where fresh seasonal catch is on the menu. The apartment is centrally located and food and liquor stores as well as restaurants are walkable, but we highly recommend renting a gold cart (buggy) to explore the island and adjoining Russell Island. There are no hotels or large resorts which helps the island keeps its distinct charm.
    If you are looking for a laid back beach vacation on a beautiful beach, Spanish Wells is it!

We had a wonderful stay at Bahama Palms! It is a very charming property right on the best part of the beautiful sandbar. The room is nothing fancy but super cute and clean, and very well stocked. The host/property managers were very prompt in every reply and very helpful with checking process. We are planning to stay here again next year.

What a great time. Property manager met us at the ferry drop off and showed us everything. Just like other reviews, location was the best on the island. The locals were so hospitable and we even had dinner with a few of them and made some friends. Kayaks were great in the water out front. Sandbar was a short walk in less than 4ft of water. Tons of outdoor seating. So refreshing how everyone trusts each other and helps each other out. Wish the rest of the world was like this. We will be back!

Our recent stay at Bahama Palms Beach Club in Spanish Wells was absolutely outstanding. From the moment we arrived, Vince and Lori were exceptional hosts—friendly, responsive, and always available with helpful recommendations, local knowledge, and assistance whenever needed. The Beach Retreat unit exceeded our expectations. The accommodations were comfortable, well-maintained, and featured a beautiful beachfront view right from the back of the property. One of our favorite aspects was the easy access to the water and the abundance of complimentary equipment available, including kayaks, paddleboards, and floats, which made enjoying the crystal-clear waters effortless and fun. The location could not have been better. We were conveniently close to restaurants, shops, and local activities, making it easy to explore everything Spanish Wells has to offer. Renting a golf cart is definitely a must, as it allows you to comfortably discover both Spanish Wells and neighboring Russell Island via the bridge. We truly cannot say enough good things about our experience. The combination of exceptional hosts, wonderful accommodations, stunning waterfront access, and an ideal location made for a perfect island getaway. We highly recommend Beach Retreat and look forward to returning in the future.

What else could you want?

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We have concierge treatment from the moment we stepped off the plane — thanks to Lori! The rental has amazing views, well stocked and island themed. Great experience and already planning our next trip.

The property was very nice. Views were outstanding and Vince and Lori super nice and helpful. The furniture was not very comfortable for seniors but it was clean and the kitchen was outfitted pretty well.

The location of the place is great and the studio apartment is okay. Just some things are a bit dated and for the price you would expect something a bit more.However, if you are looking for a central spot right by the water then it is great accommodation. Also the hosts were super friendly fly and helpful.

This was our second trip to Spanish Wells, first at this location. This unit has a great location right on the beach. The hosts were very responsive to all of our questions. We had everything that we needed for our stay. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Magical Experience!

Vince and Lori are incredible hosts—very helpful and communicative. Our first trip EVER to the Bahamas 🇧🇸—it will not be our last. Met / made some new friends! (And we loved Wreckers Bar/Grill/Restaurant—delicious food and affable staff.) Spanish Wells…a truly magical experience!

Look no further

Amazing property! Cute beach cottage with everything you need for a great stay. Pack light, free washer and dryer available. Best beachfront steps from patio door. We can't imagine staying anywhere else. Loved that we could connect the unit next door. Lori and Vince are the best hosts!
