Staff was very helpful and amazing, great place to stay for a beach trip that wont break the bank! Room was spotless and the facility in general was clean and quiet, the beds and pillows were very comfortable, if i could have stayed longer i would have just for the comfy bed, will definitely stay again when I'm in the area!

Easy from the airport, with plenty of parking. 5min walk to a lovely marina with some bars and restaurants. Felt safe walking in the evening. The room was clean and cool, with microwave, fridge and coffee. Reception staff helpful and the breakfast had lots of options.

It appeared to me that this motel was very old. Door on side of building was supposed to be locked at all times. Access for the door was with a key lock. The door was never locked. Inside that same door was an entry way that had three buckets to catch water. They remained there for all four days that I was there and it never rained. Lastly, housekeeping came in the room on only the last day of our stay and for some reason only freshened up one of the two beds. They left the door ajar with all of our belongings in the room. Ugh. Nothing was taken but I was definitely not happy about it

Dear Michelle,We are truly sorry you had issues during your stay. The buckets in the atrium was from the condensation of the air conditioning system which we were waiting on our technician to come to fix the unit. Our atrium doors do lock just during the daytime our units overheat with the hot Florida sun. During the night we do have the keylock entry with the doors.

The Super8 experience can vary widely - the are some that should be avoided at all costs - others like the Super8 in Melbourne are fantastic. The Super8 in Melbourne is clean, the staff is professional, they make the beds every day, the free breakfast may be small but what they have is well stocked, clean and fresh....Bravo!!

Easy check in & check out. Staff was helpful, courteous & understanding (especially when my two year old had a melt down)! Best of all it was CLEAN. Short drive to beach & and many dining options. Would definitely stay here again!

The rooms were clean spacious and comfortable. The corridors smell very clean as well. The receptionist was aware of our reservation and had rooms close together for us. She took the time to tell us about what was available for breakfast.

The bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful in finding a nice restaurant within walking distance. The TV remote needed new batteries and Kim took care of the problem immediately.

I was impressed. I travel a lot of business and don't usually stay at hotels with a number in the name, but I saw the reviews, and though skeptical, I thought I would try it. This is the BEST Super 8 hotel I have ever stayed in. It's not a 5 star, for sure, but the hotel is clean, it's been updated, the bed was very comfortable and the staff especially helpful and attentive. I will stay again.

Pleasurable
If you are looking for a decent basic place to stay in Melbourne, then stay here. It's clean, comfortable, and the staff are quite cordial. Speaking of, Jenny had been most friendly and helpful. It's not a four star hotel, but then I've stayed at some that weren't as nice as this. I'd definitely consider staying here again should the need arise.

Blood stained pillows and sheet
The first room i got had blood on 3 of the 5 pillows, there was blood on the sheet .... I was given a new room and female hair was all over the pillows.. I was horrified to what i encountered.

Dear guest, we are deeply sorry for the bad experience you had with one of or rooms. Despite of our best intentions to provide an exceptional guest experience, we fall short of expectations sometimes. Please be assured that this is not the norm at an our hotel and the responsible employee was immediately removed from our staff!!We understand that your room was immediately switched when you brought the incidence to our attention. Please contact the hotel directly if there is anything else we could do better for you.
