« When I got there they did not have a clean room and it was an hour after check-in. Then when I went to the room they gave me it was not clean. The beds were not made then they gave me another key and it I had to go back down and it did not work. Once I got into the room it was just a regular room with a refrigerator, not a studio or a suite as advertised. Then I tried to lift the shade up and the shade didn't work. « The back door to the motel was broken so one didn't need a room key to get in. that means anyone could just walk in. For this reason, I didn't feel exactly safe. My toilet was very weak! The front desk clerk provided excellent service and brought a refrigerator to my room. The microwave door and knob were dirty. I kept washing my hands. Everything else was clean. »

« I like quirky older motels. Reeds is a classic 60's joint. It not fancy, but its clean and the beds in room #1 were fantastic. We were hiking all day in the White Mountains and these beds soothed the body. The staff when I spoke to them were polite and friendly. I always stay in Springerville when I'm that way. Small town, easy vibe. If ya want simplicity and quirk, this is the place to be! »
