"We stayed at this hotel because of the indoor pool. Unfortunately, we were told the pool hadn't been in commission for weeks. Our bathroom had mold, and the popcorn on the roof was almost like a black color. The rooms could use a little updating. Overall, it was a place to stay. Also I paid regular price (119) the first night then Saturday hit and I paid 240 for that night because concerts and things were going on in El Paso. A hotel shouldn't raise their prices just because they have the last room available, but even more so they should let people know things like their pool being down and discount prices when their amenities aren't up and running."

"We loved the decor, the comfy beds and especially the staff. The lady who ran the breakfast area was a darling and did a super job making everyone feel pampered. (I think she said she had worked there for 20 years). She was a keeper for sure. I also loved the way the bedroom was arranged, giving a separate dressing area from the sleeping area. Great idea that other hotels could take advantage of. The only "down" thing was the low toilet, which is very hard to use if you have bad knees. They need to put in a high-rise toilet in some of the rooms."
