Expedia stated this hotel was 10.29 miles away from Carolina Beach, when in fact, it was nearly an hour away. We were in town for a Jeep event and that misinformation became an inconvenience for us.

Check in staff was excellent and friendly. I was exhausted from work so went straight to the room. Room was great. Clean, great size. I just could not find the remote for the TV but I was so tired, didn't care! Great overnight spot!

Wonderful front desk staff and room was very clean. The only issue was the bed. We had 2 queen beds in our room 218. Both were extremely broken in and sagged they should consider replacing beds . Spoke to housekeeping about it and she noted it down. Very very nice woman

We love staying here for the location. Several stays over the past few years and always generally pleasant. But it’s starting to show the struggle many hotels face since Covid, which is good help. High quality professionals and the ability to keep the rooms truly clean seem to impact many hotels now. Everything in the bathroom needed a deep scrub & I encountered hair that wasn’t ours in sink & top linens. Used to have common toiletries on the sink, none this time but a single tiny hand soap. We know daily cleanings aren’t a thing anymore unless requested and we hang our main towels to use twice, but we used to get a daily light clean of emptying trash & collecting any towels not hung up. Not this time… Lobby & dining & common areas were clean though elevator needed vacuum. Hopefully it’ll bounce back by next years stay…

Amazing staff!
The room was spacious and very clean. However, the highlight of our stay was the staff. The staff that checked us in was friendly and very helpful (including give us dinner recommendations). The staff that was present when we checked out was also friendly and they went the extra mile and contacted us to let us know we had forgotten items in the room. The went above and beyond!

Decent stay
The bed was not comfortable for me but my husband ,which is a camper, slept like a log. One of the reviews said hot tub but there wasn't one. The place was clean and staff friendly but to our surprise we came back ti an our uncleaned room.

One of the nicer places we've stayed for the price
Very nice clean place to stay. I couldn't find the remote. They provided another without question. Excellent breakfast. But... I don't understand the new way they do Rewards now. We have used Hotels.com for quite a few years and have stayed in many hotels and guest houses around the world. We liked the way we were Rewarded with a free or very discounted stay after 10 overnight stays. Now I don't know how this new way works or even benefits us.

Clean, well maintained and well equipped rooms with comfortable beds. Staff always available, friendly and helpful with good knowledge of the area. Reasonable rates makes the hotel great value. On a major road but no sidewalks, or proper crosswalks. A good Italian restaurant on adjacent property, but to reach anything else one has to walk a fair distance on rough ground on the side of the road to keep clear of traffic. Not a big inconvenience as the hotel has an excellent breakfast buffet, daylong coffee/tea facility and well stocked area for purchase of snacks.

Friendly travel
My stay was excellent . Although it was one night I slept comfortably, I was greeted with great service professionalism and friendliness. The room and bathroom was impecable and the breakfast was very good.
